Travelling to Stansted Airport
If you decide to drive to the travel hub, it can easily be reached from the M11 motorway. There are a range of airport hotel options to choose from too if you decide to extend your trip by an extra day or if you are catching an early-morning flight.

If driving straight to Stansted Airport, there are a number of airport car parks available to book through FHR.
Those who prefer to drop your car off right at the terminal building, passengers can choose from the Aardvark Stansted , Just Meet and Greet Stansted and the Meteor Meet and Greet Parking Services Stansted .
Alternatively, for cheap and secure parking there is the Park and Ride Stansted car park, just a five-minute transfer time from the airport.
Those who wish to reach the travel hub via public transport will find that trains link Stansted Airport with the capital city, the Midlands and eastern England and the train station is located beneath the terminal building.
Buses also service central London as well as destinations such as Cambridge, Oxford, Birmingham and Ipswich. These routes are covered by the likes of Terravision, National Express and EasyBus, among others.
Inside the terminal building
Once you arrive at the airport, you can benefit from peaceful and calm surroundings if you reserve a place in one of Stansted's airport lounges.
