Road closure at Luton Airport

Road closure at Luton Airport A road close to Luton Airport is set to be closed, which could prompt travellers to stay in a Luton Airport hotel for the night to make their journey smoother.

Between 22:00 BST on Friday May 6th and the night of Sunday May 9th, an area of Kimpton Road will not be open to traffic or pedestrians.

This is because essential bridge works are being carried out in the area.

The travel hub has advised passengers to give themselves extra time when making their way to or from the airport through Luton town centre and said that there will be a fully signposted diversion route for traffic.

Passengers travelling on the M1 will not have their journey affected by the closure.

Once holidaymakers arrive at the travel hub they can browse in a variety of shops, including Rolling Luggage, Cotton Traders and Tie Rack.

The airport is also home to a wide variety of eateries, such as Food Village, Yam Yam To Go and Caffe Nero.
