We had both the evening meal & breakfast both were exceptional 👌 we also paid for late check out & booked transfers through the hotel we've done this once before & we're going to book everytime we go on holiday it was faultless. The rooms are very clean & bed & pillows add to a great night's sleep. Ten out of Ten.

Reception were on the ball as we're the restaurant staff. Unfortunately with only 1 person on the bar who spent time delivering food to rooms as well as attempting to serve behind the bar. Rooms along with the rest of the hotel needs some TLC as its all a bit tired. Having said that we would stay again as the price is reflective.

We recently had the unpleasant experience of staying at this hotel.. Booked in 11th – 12th July arriving in the early hours of the morning, we were allocated Room 019 on the ground floor, the room had the following issues: The window did not close or lock, the room was grubby with sellotaped & bashed lamp shades – terrible first impression. In the morning we discovered the shower main head didn’t work and had to use the hand held hose, the bathroom was grubby and dirty looking. By this point it was 3am and pointless asking to swap rooms as I feared they would all be as bad. I have stayed in this hotel several times over the years and recommended it to others, however I will not be returning and can’t believe how shabby and unkempt it has become after becoming part of the Britannia Hotel chan. I spoke with reception on our departure and asked for a complaints form/procedure to be told you didn’t have one! The receptionist did take a note of my complaints as I spoke with her the maintenance man was also present – he proceeded to question everything I said! He stated the showers did work but they had several complaints about them – why not do something about this then? This was a disappointing end to our holiday to spend our final night in a grubby unkempt hotel and to be dismissed by the staff. I have made a complaint to the hotel - still awaiting a reply.

Britannia Airport Hotel

dinner bed and breakfast was bought and paid for, only breakfast was had. Due to being held up at the airport waiting for our luggage and my disabled uncle being finally collected off the plane after over 2 hours after landing, we arrived later than planned at the hotel, missed the dinner cut off by 10 minutes. It was no fault of ours or the hotel but there was no offer to even help us out at all. To make matters worse we had to repay for the rooms as they claimed the payment had not been taken, despite me having the proof of payment and the email from FHR.com. The money was refunded the next day as it was only a pre authorisation, very inconvenient. will not fly from Manchester airport again so there will be no need to stay here again. Poor

Double Tree by Hilton Manchester Airport

Spent 1 night before a flight , plus 15 nights parking onsite, easy check in, standard room, clean, comfortable. Ate in the hotel restaurant that evening, decent food, a tad overpriced, but that’s the Hilton. All in all satisfying with our deal, big thing for us is the hotel don’t lay on a courtesy bus to the airport, but they are using a company(new)called CCP, it was only £8.40 return, very good, and reasonably priced.

I have stayed at this hotel many many time before when travelling from manchester airport, but I am sorry to say that I was very disappointed this time round, the bathroom was dirty with urine on the door and floor when we entered, the kettle had a crack in it so when it boiled the crack expanded the kettle to which boiling water leak ed out and the floor where I stepped out of the bed was all uneven and the breakfast offerrings where very poor, I understand that things would be different during these uncertain times but breakfast was so disappointing with cereal or a bacon/sausage very poor sandwich with a drink certainly was not value for the money u paid extra for breakfast, the taxi the hotel order for us travelling to the airport (club cars) was great however travelling back to hotel from airport was not good at all, the driver was rude, kept telling us her was there waiting for us when he wasn't, after calling him many times to try and find him he just kept hanging up on us club cars again, so after a 1hr wait in the end we ended up getting a taxi from street cars from outside the terminal , this experience has really made me question to if I would stay again (sorry)

Nice clean hotel and room was clean too, we did include breakfast with the room booking and was disappointed with the choice. We know that things have changed with Covid-19 but we both felt that including breakfast was not worth the price.
