Just one of the many Hotels near Manchester Airport available from FHR.
We have stayed at The Ashley previously and it is an average hotel but reasonably priced and is a good location on Hale Street within a short walking distance for the rail station. On this occasion we booked the hotel for an mid week overnight stay prior to a morning flight from Manchester. It was a short 15min drive to the Airport where we left our car on a meet and greet basis. The mid week price for the hotel was very reasonable and served its purpose very well/

Hotel and transfers were very good, waited 5 mins at the airport to return to the hotel and then pick my car, if travelling from Manchester again, we will use you again.

I found that this experience was very stressful and disappointing and we almost missed our flight! we stayed at a hotel the night before to avoid this drama as we were flying at 630am. the hotel we stayed at was basic but ok, it advertised that there would be a carvery but on our arrival we were told they had stopped doing meals 4 months before. we had to drive 15 minutes to the sister hotel which wasn't made clear on booking and the organisation of the transfers was a disaster. we arrived at the hotel and the transfer we were supposed to be booked on drove off while we were next to it and we were rudely told we were late by the receptionist when we had arrived on time. We had to wait 45 minutes for the next transfer bus Aat 430am and when they arrived we weren't booked on any of them and they left us standing there. Having complained to the hotel reception they kept informing us that it was on its way with no apology or concern. Finally a taxi came nearly an hour and half after we first arrived. Our return was no better. Followed the instructions given to call and wait for our bus at the pick up point only for no transfer to collect us. We had to call again and they arranged a taxi, this was an hour 15 minutes after we first called. The taxi driver informed us that the bus transfers weren't running that day and the first call hadn't been logged. I won't be using the hotel services again, it was not a good start or ending to our holiday and the staff at the hotel lacked customer service.

Hotel very tired looking, and you couldn't park at hotel you had to drive to country house to leave car, couldn't call on request to get picked up from airport to collect car, there was set timetables! Car parking was cheap but abit out the way. Would rather pay bit extra next time and get better service
