Drivefly Meet and Greet

Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

You will be called 20-30 minutes prior to your arrival time to confirm your drop off time. If you do NOT receive a call, please call us on the above number when you are 15 -20 minutes away from the terminal.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Please call the number on your confirmation once you have collected all your luggages in the baggage hall. In case of any delays please let us know. Our chauffer will deliver your vehicle to the agreed pick up point at the airport.

What security measures does the car park have?

Secure car park close to airport. It is manned with 24-hour security, regular patrols and a high perimeter fence.

Valet parking is now almost as far away as the on-site parking at BHX due to the changes at the airport. The time to return the car is approx 15 minutes from making the telephone call, much to long if it is raining as there is no shelter. Seriously considering not bothering with this service for any future bookings

Directions to the car park were easy to follow People were there to take the car and direct us to departures On return car was delivered in a few minutes and the person delivering was very pleasant and helpful I recommend without reservation

efficient - however - meet and greet to me is not having to walk with suitcases to a designated spot - if it had been raining we would have got soaked. Meet and greet should be greeted at arrivals and at departures

A bit pricey but the dropping off procedure worked well and was convenient but saying pick up at Valet Parking was a bit vague as the signage is either non existent or poor and at 23:30 it's not fun wandering aimlessly. Think a sketch map on the confirmation form or some directions when we phoned on collection of baggage, would have helped. Also transfer driver had switched off the radio/satnav display, and as it's fairly new car we were baffled for a while, as I thought the unit had failed and took a while along with 2 of your staff, trying to find the "fault".

Unfortunately Meet & Greet at B'ham Airport during redevelopment is too far away from the terminal if you are disabled and starting early in the morning and there are no wheelchairs. On return, from the time we 'phoned to say we had our luggage, it was about a half an hour wait. Not in the same class as a Meet & Greet service at other airports.

Convenient location. Only down side was having to stand there and listen to two of the employees argue about who was going to complete the booking in of my car. I ended up doing it myself which wasn't ideal. Service not brilliant.

The service itself was great. I was very unhappy about being charged 13 days although booking was from 11.10. at 11.30am to 23.10. at 2.15am which isn´t even 12 full days. This feels like taking advantage of the customer.

We found this service was excellent. Rang them when we were 10 mins from the airport and they told us where to go to leave our car. They were there to meet us and took the car away immediately. When we returned we rang them after collecting our luggage and they were there within 10 minutes to deliver our car to us. We were very pleased and would use this service again in the future.

On arrival the person meeting us didn't have our details. I had changed my car which caused the confusion. I did phone the change of details through 3 months prior and it was all confirmed by email. The change of details never got passed on which caused confusion at the time of drop off. That was the only problem as the rest of the service was A1. If these problems can be sorted out in future it would be 5 star service.

Departure Procedure
Telephone: the number on your confirmation 3 / the number on your confirmation 0

IMPORTANT: please call us on the above number when you are 15-20 minutes away from the terminal.

On arriving at the airport, follow signs for car parks 2 and 3.
You need to enter the "Valet Parking" Carpark, which is just before Car park 3 and in-between Car park 2/3.
Take a ticket from the barrier before entering the "Valet Parking" car park and hand this to your driver.
Once you have entered the Valet Parking car park, proceed to park in bays 25,26,27,39,40,41,42

Here you will be greeted by one of our chauffeurs at the prearranged meeting point, who will have all your booking details and will be wearing a black jacket with our Drivefly company logo on it.

Return Procedure
Please call Drivefly on the number on your confirmation 3 / the number on your confirmation 0 once you have collected all your luggage. In case of any delays please let Drivefly know.
The Drivefly chauffeur will deliver your vehicle to the agreed pick up point at the airport at the same point where you dropped your vehicle.

If you're going to arrive outside the time arranged, please give the car park as much notice as possible.

Please be aware that due to time restrictions in the car park you must be at the collection point within 10 minutes of your call, or you may incur additional charges payable at the exit barrier. If you are returning earlier than the date or time you have provided, we must know 24 hours in advance to avoid any delay. From time to time the meeting point may change at short notice. You will be informed when you call if this will affect you.

Other important information
Vehicle Restrictions: Parking is for cars only and cars must fit in to a standard sized parking space (2.4m wide x 4.8m long). Extra charges will apply for cars that do not fit in to a standard parking space and must be arranged with Drivefly prior to the drop off date. Very large vehicles and minibuses may be refused if prior arrangements are not made. Minibuses / vehicles with more than 8 passenger seats cannot be accepted for Meet & Greet services.
Illegal Vehicles: It's your responsibility to make sure that your vehicle has road tax, holds a valid MOT certificate and is roadworthy / legal. If your car isn't legal or safe to drive, Drivefly will not be able to drive it to the car park, and you will not be able to get a refund.
Early Returns: If you are returning ahead of schedule, please telephone Drivefly ASAP. They must have 24 hrs notice (or as much notice as possible) so that they can make sure the vehicle is ready and you are not kept waiting on your return. Refunds cannot be given for part used book
