Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Make sure you call the car park 15-20 minutes before you arrive on the number on your confirmation. Enter option 1. When you arrive at Birmingham International Airport, stay in the right-hand lane and follow it all the way to "Valet Parking" customers only.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Just call Maple Manor Parking on the number on your confirmation option 1 when you have collected your bags, As you exit the terminal building, follow the signs to "Valet Parking". (where you dropped the car off).

What security measures does the car park have?

The site where your car will be stored has CCTV, a high fence, entry and exit barriers, floodlighting and regular patrols. Staff are CRB checked and Comprehensively insured to drive on the highway.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Illegal Vehicles: It's your responsibility to make sure that your vehicle has road tax, holds a valid MOT certificate and is roadworthy / legal. If your car isn't legal or safe to drive, Maple Manor will not be able to drive it to the car park, and you will not be able to get a refund. If you have a Blue Badge, you can be met in the disabled parking bays next to the terminal. You'll need to ask for this when you call to say you are 20 minutes from arriving. Vehicle Restrictions: Parking is for cars only and cars must fit in to a standard sized parking space (2.4m wide x 4.8m long).

The distance from the drop off / pick up point for valet parking is to far from the terminal if you have to transport luggage and would be even worse for the elderly or in adverse weather conditions The transfer buses to the other car parks are much nearer and a far better option

Very efficient. Drivers waiting for the car on arrival and explained the process and where the car would be going. On return car was back within 10 minutes of phoning. Would definitely recommend Maple Manor at Birmingham. Thank you.

Due to the ground works in the car park it is now necessary to walk much further than before yet the price remains the same. It is no longer as convenient . Having just travelled with two small children and returning in the evening whilst it was raining this car park was not very useful. Due to distance to walk.

Nice and smooth. Friendly staff. We had to wait a bit to pick up the car but it was most likely due to some traffic jams on the way into the airport.

Worst meet and greet we have had at Birmingham Airport. For a start you have to walk along way from the drop off point to the terminal. Not good if it is raining. "Meet and Greet" more like search and find - no one greeted us we had to look for appropriate guy dealing with this service. We did not get given any paperwork on dropping off the vehicle. On return at 11pm waited in freezing cold again no "Meet and Greet" a matter of trying to find your car with no clue where they operate from and this led to us waiting 20 minutes only to then find the car was in fact there. Really bad and disorganised service.

The actual service, when I finally got there, was excellent. What was not at all good was the instructions for finding the location - most unclear & resulting in my spending £1 quite unnecessarily on the wrong car park - together with the now-impossible-to-fulfil instruction to ring when 15-20 minutes away. There is nowhere on my route via M6 and M42 where one call pull over to ring; the A45 is a clearway and there is no parking or stopping within the airport itself. So they urgently need to clarify and revise their joining instructions.

The Meet and Greet was fine but we had to leave the car in Valet Parking and we felt that the signage for this area was inadequate. Otherwise the personel were helpful and efficient.

On arrival at Birmingham airport we were met by chaos! There were queues to get into car park where we were to leave car, there were no parking spaces, the car park was blocked with cars trying to find spaces. There were a lot of angry/frustrated drivers and not enough staff to cope. A very stressful start to our holiday! Our return to Birmingham at the end of our holiday was better, although we had to wait about 5 minutes in the cold before our car arrived. I used Maple Manor in April 2016 when the meet and greet took place in the "drop & go" car park, that car park is closer to the terminal and bigger and worked well which is why we booked with Maple Manor again. We won't be booking with them in the future!

Maple Manor service was 5star, pity about Birmingham airport moving ALL meet & greet to a car park some way from the airport main building (little or no signage to direct you either), no cover, very cold walking to it and little / no waiting facilities when you get there. Car park is small so incoming cars are queued up waiting for cars to leave before they can enter so adds to waiting time. Don't understand why they were forced to move so far away? Heathrow, Gatwick etc. on the doorstep.

The low rating is due to the very poor service on our return to Birmingham last night.We did everything as instructed and rang when we had collected our luggage. We were told to make our way to the collecting area and the car would be there in about 10 minutes. After 20 minutes in the freezing 1 degree temp. and rain starting to fall, we rang the number again and were told that our car had not left the compound yet as they were waiting for a driver! There were quite a few drivers in the car park where we were waiting and so one then left to collect our car. This duly arrived after a total of 35 minutes in the freezing cold and rain. The driver informed us that there were only 7 people working and they had too many flights to meet. We have used various meet and greet many times over the years but this service was absolutely diabolical and the last thing you want at the end of a holiday. Never again!!!

I always book meet & greet service at Birmingham Airport and usually with Maple Manor, always found the guys very polite and helpful, this time the return of my car was so much quicker which was more acceptable than the normal 20 minutes! Would recommend Maple Manor!

Directions for Maple Manor Meet & Greet


Please call us on the number on your confirmation 9 (select option 1) 15-20 minutes prior to your arrival at Birmingham Airport.
Please have ready your 'Booking Name' and 'Booking Reference' when you call and we will dispatch our driver to meet you.

Follow the directions below to the meeting point at the terminal.

Please allow sufficient time for our driver to complete our check-in procedure and conduct the necessary photographic vehicle inspection on your arrival. This usually takes 3-4 minutes. Failure to leave adequate time for our driver to complete this may relinquish any claim for damage not recorded as a result. If you are running late this can be completed by our driver after you have left but before he or she moves your car

Directions
When you arrive at Birmingham International Airport, stay in the right-hand lane and follow it all the way to "Valet Parking" customers only. Go through the barrier and collect a ticket to hand to Maple Manor Chauffeur. Park your vehicle in the designated Maple Manor Parking bays and a uniformed chauffeur with ID will be there to collect your vehicle.

If you're going to arrive outside the time arranged, please give the car park as much notice as possible.

Return Instructions
Once You have collected your luggage, Please Call Maple Manor on the number on your confirmation option 1.
As you exit the terminal building, follow the signs to "Valet Parking" (where you dropped the car off).
Your vehicle will be returned to the designated Maple Manor Parking bays. A uniformed chauffeur will return your vehicle.
. Please be aware that due to time restrictions in the car park you must be at the collection point within 10 minutes of your call, or you may incur additional charges payable at the exit barrier.
. If you are returning earlier than the date or time you have provided, we must know 24 hours in advance to avoid any delay.
. From time to time the meeting point may change at short notice. You will be informed when you call if this will affect you.

Other important information
If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, any extra days will be charged at £10.00 per day (or part day). No refunds will be issued for part used stays. Payments for extra days must be settled before the vehicle is handed over and if requested a receipt can be sent by email to you.

Vehicle Restrictions: Parking is for cars only and cars must fit in to a standard sized parking space (2.4m wide x 4.8m long). Extra charges will apply for cars that do not fit in to a standard parking space and must be arranged with Maple prior to the drop off date. Very large vehicles and minibuses may be refused if prior arrangements are not made. Minibuses / vehicles with more than 8 passenger seats cannot be accepted for Meet & Greet services.

Late Returns: If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have booked, extra days parking will be charged at £10 per day or part day after your booked return date.

Early Returns: If you are returning ahead of schedule, please telephone Maple ASAP. They must have 24 hrs notice (or as much notice as possible) so that they can make sure the vehicle is ready and you are not kept waiting on your return. Refunds cannot be given for part used bookings.
