Stansted Airport has installed high-tech information pods to help customers choosing to use public transport get to and from the airport.
A large of number of flyers prefer the convenience of driving themselves and those people need look no further than here for the best deals on airport parking.
But travellers looking to continue their journeys on public transport can now utilise the new bright yellow information systems.
The touch screen pods, provided by Cityspace, allow users to access rail, bus and weather news, as well as any frequently asked questions about the airport.
Stansted has bought three of the systems at a cost of £100,000, with two situated in the international baggage reclaim zone and one in the domestic flights reclaim area.
Steve Mills, Stansted’s public transport manager, said: "Around 40per cent of passengers currently use public transport to get to and from Stansted – the highest figure for any airport in the UK – and the second highest in Europe.
"This new service showcases the wide range of transport options that are available to passengers and allows them to plan their onward journey from start to finish."
