Ray Quinn, who came second to Leona Lewis in the 2006 series of X Factor, is to make his West End debut next month.
The singer, famous for his renditions of old jazz hits, is to star on stage in top musical Grease from June 16th.
He will perform as Doody in the West End musical alongside Danny Bayne who will continue to play in the lead role of Danny and Nicola Brazil playing Sandy.
Now in its 15th year, Grease continues to be a major success among UK audiences with fans flocking from across the country to see it.
When it first hit the West End stage in 1993, it featured a cast that included Craig McLachlan and Debbie Gibson and since then 250,000 people have seen it.
The show entertains with some of the world’s best-known songs including You’re The One That I Want, Grease Is The Word, Hopelessly Devoted To You and Summer Nights.
