Birmingham Airport has appointed a new chief executive officer (CEO), who spoke of his plans for the future of the expanding West Midlands hub.
Paul Kehoe joined Birmingham Airport from Bristol Airport, where he has served as CEO since 2007.
Mr Kehoe said that now is a good time to take over at Birmingham as the airport looks forward to a number of exciting developments in the future.
"This is a tremendously exciting time to lead the team at Birmingham Airport," he said.
"The developments that are either planned or underway are ambitious and will enable the airport to continue to make a significant contribution to the success of the region."
Birmingham Airport is one of the UK’s busiest regional air hubs and saw four straight months of record-breaking passenger figures between February and May this year.
People travelling from the airport can fly to destinations including Lisbon, Madrid, Paris, Copenhagen, Paphos and Antalya.
