Two new routes to the Spanish destinations of Girona on the Costa Brava and Alicante on the Costa Blanca will soon be accessible from Leeds/Bradford Airport.
Ryanair announced that it would launch the new services in the autumn, with the Girona route operating four times a week from October 1st.
The popular holiday destination of Alicante will see three flights a week from Leeds from October 28th onwards.
Announcing the developments at Leeds/Bradford, Bridget Dowling of Ryanair said that Alicante and Girona are both important cities for business and leisure travellers.
Tony Hallwood, the airport’s commercial and aviation development director, said: "We are pleased to see Ryanair developing their range of international services serving the fast growing cities of Leeds and Bradford.
"We also look forward to working with Ryanair to encourage an increasing number of tourists to our dynamic and diverse region. These exciting new routes will also complement Ryanair’s successful twice-daily flights to Dublin."
