Durham Tees Valley Airport has announced new initiatives which will make booking car park spaces easier for its passengers, according to reports.
A recently introduced online booking facility has made it possible for passengers to pre-book a space for their vehicle before they go on holiday while the airport has offered a 35 per cent discount to encourage people to use the service.
Passengers who book online at least ten days before their flight will be awarded the full 35 per cent discount while this will be reduced for those who leave it to between two and nine days prior to travel.
Once they have booked their car park space, passengers to Durham Tees Valley Airport will enjoy the fact that the car park has tight security including high security fencing and continuous CCTV surveillance.
Disabled flyers can take advantage of disabled bays in the car park while regular passengers could make life even easier by buying a season ticket for a minimum six month period which allows unlimited access to the car park.
Originally called Teeside International, the airport was renamed Durham Tees Valley Airport as part of a major redevelopment plan in 2004.
