BBC Recommends FHR for Airport Parking Deals

This week we picked up on an item on the BBC’s Working Lunch programme from earlier in the month and we’re happy to say that FHR is mentioned in their discussion on how to get the best airport parking deals.

Filmed at the Long Stay Car Park at Heathrow the report discusses the benefits of parking onsite at the airport versus the savings you can make by parking at one of the off-site car parks which are located near to but not within the airport grounds.  Off-site car parks such as Purple Parking Heathrow can work out to be signifcantly cheaper than on-airport car parks with just a 15-20 minute transfer to take you to the airport terminal.

Meet and Greet parking is also discussed and it can work out to be cheaper than many people think. The service from companies such as Aardvark Meet and Greet is ideal for travellers looking for that little extra convenience by having their car collected from outside the airport, driven to the secured compound by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on return.

Whichever parking option is chosen the best advice is to book in advance as you can guarantee your space but more importantly save money on the price you would pay if you just turned up to park.
