Bank Holiday Travellers Breathe Sigh of Relief

Travellers jetting away this Bank Holiday weekend can breathe a sigh of relief as planned strike action by baggage handlers at Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester airports has been postponed.
FHR reported yesterday that over the bank holiday weekend a normal service will be running as the planned strike action over  unfair pay will not be taking place after all.  This comes as Gatwick Airport Predicts a busy bank holiday with over half a million people expected to pass through the sussex-based hub over the weekend.
If you’re escaping the British weather and jetting away over the bank holiday then don’t forget that you can still grab a deal by pre-booking a Gatwick Airport Parking space and saving on the price you would pay if you just turned up to park.
