Families who have been affected by a life threatening illness have been given a fantastic festive flight.
Nicki Embleton, from Cancer Research UK, said many of the children, because of illnesses in their family, had never flown before.
Children from various hospitals in the area were greeted by pantomime characters at Leeds Bradford Airport before boarding the plane.
Eddie Wilson, director of personnel and in-flight services, commented that the airport was "delighted" to offer families a day to remember.
"The children really got into the party spirit and came dressed and princesses, superheroes and fairies – it was heart-warming to see them having so much fun," he added.
Everyone onboard searched the skies for Santa during the flight, while they sat with family members and enjoyed a memorable day out.
Passengers can reach more than 70 different destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport.
