Passengers concerned about the noise from aircraft while staying at their Birmingham Airport are now able to view the hub’s flight paths online.
A new Google Earth tool can be downloaded from the Birmingham Airport website showing the noise insulation schemes and air quality monitoring in the area, as well as the flight paths of the services operating from the hub.
Ben Hanley, Birmingham Airport’s environment manager, said that the hub is looking for feedback to ensure it can provide a better service in the future.
"We expect the resource will also be beneficial to those looking to relocate close to Birmingham Airport who want to find out where flight paths are and if they are eligible for our environmental schemes," he added.
At the beginning of June a new service was launched connecting the West Midlands facility with Shannon in Ireland, with seats available from £39.99 one way, including taxes.
