Stansted Airport’s Ryanair calendar girls announced

Members of airline staff based at Stansted Airport will model for the 2011 Girls of Ryanair Cabin Crew Charity Calendar.

The airline confirmed that four ladies normally based at Stansted Airport have been chosen from over 400 applicants.

Paris Maund (Miss January), Astrid Otalora Sabando (Miss March), Carla Chacksfield (Miss April) and Aleksandra Bartela (Miss October) have been named as the lucky ladies.

The budget airline's Stephen McNamara said: "Ryanair continues to support the right of girls to take their clothes off, particularly when it is for charity. Our 2011 calendar … should be supported by all British men."

The proceeds of the calendar are estimated to make about €100,000 (£84,530) for charity, which should increase the money raised by Ryanair cabin crew to around €400,000.

Recently, AirAsia announced that Virgin boss Richard Branson will be serving as a flight attendant, in full uniform, on one of its services after losing a bet.

Seats on the flight will be auctioned off and the money will be donated to charity.
