Thomas Cook is set to launch new routes from Southampton Airport.
Next summer, holidaymakers leaving the travel hub will have more options to pick from when they book a break with tour operators Air Tours, Direct Holidays or Thomas Cook.
The facility will add Menorca to its list of destinations, with direct flights leaving Southampton Airport for Mahon each Sunday between May 29th and September 25th next year.
"We know and understand that people like to use their regional airport wherever possible, and we're committed to doing just that for those looking to take a holiday from the Southampton region. We're excited to be able to confirm this new route and look forward to working really closely with the airport in 2011," Richard Calvert, managing director for mainstream tour operations at Thomas Cook UK and Ireland, said.
In addition, each Saturday between May 28th and September 17th next year travellers will be able to fly with Airtours, Direct Holidays and Thomas Cook to Palma, Majorca.
Furthermore, Southampton Airport also offers flights to a number of other destinations, including Alicante and Faro.
