Stansted Airport has offered travel advice to passengers using the facility over the easter period.
The travel hub said that holidaymakers should "Check, Pack & Go" and make sure they are ready to board a plane before they even leave the house.
Travellers can complete the "Check" part of this process by checking in for their flights on the internet and looking at the airline's size and weight limits before they travel.
Holidaymakers have also been advised to "Pack" gels, pastes and liquids that they are carrying in hand luggage in a clear re-sealable plastic bag that is 20cm x 20cm maximum.
Passengers have also been told that they should arrive at the airport two hours prior to their flight and the airport gate with 40 minutes to spare before their departure.
"We urge passengers to heed our advice, especially as we enter a very busy period with three long bank holiday weekends fast approaching," Martin Lyall, operations director at Stansted Airport, said.
Passengers who decide to travel from the facility this easter can reach a number of destinations, including Agadir, Sharm el-Sheikh and Gdansk.
