Edinburgh Airport gets Madeira flightsEdinburgh Airport is set to offer new flights to the island of Madeira.

Atlantic Holidays will organise the Monarch service to meet the demand left by Flyglobespan.

The flights will run on Monday June 27th and Monday October 17th this year.

Dino Toouli, sales and marketing manager at Atlantic Holidays, said that there is a strong demand in Scotland for flights to Madeira.

He added: "Holidays start from as little as £499 for bed and breakfast in the 3* Estrelicia Hotel and £739 for half board in the 5* Pestana Casino Park Hotel."

Furthermore, Edinburgh Airport has also recently launched its Summer Flight Guide, which contains 18 new routes for 2011. Passengers using the guide will be able to access maps and be informed of services they can use in the travel hub's departure lounge.

The brochure also has money off vouchers for customers to use and retail offers. In addition, it contains a Winter Preview Section.
