A cruise connection from Stansted Airport will soon be launched by Royal Caribbean International.
It will be the company's first direct cruise connection from the travel hub and will be operated by charter flights to Venice run by British Airways.
From June this year passengers can board the Voyager of the Seas to sail around the Adriatic for seven nights.
Those on board the vessel can try rock climbing and ice skating and there are also areasgeared towards teenagers and children.
"We look forward to welcoming guests jetting away from Stansted for their cruise connection this summer, and wish Royal Caribbean International every success with this new service," Nick Barton, the travel hub's managing director, said.
In addition, Jo Rzymowska, associate vice president and general manager at Royal Caribbean International UK and Ireland, said that cruise passengers want convenient flight connections.
Furthermore, passengers will be able to fly from the travel hub to Santiago de Compostela as part of Ryanair's summer schedule.
