Ryanair sells Hello! on Stansted Airport flightsPassengers travelling from Stansted Airport, Birmingham Airport and Edinburgh Airport are now able to read the latest celebrity gossip while in the air.

Ryanair has announced a six-month trial, which began late last week, selling copies of Hello! magazine on board flights from the three travel hubs.

The magazine is priced at £2 and, should the trial prove successful, the publication will be available on all flights from Ryanair's UK bases.

Stephen McNamara, from Ryanair, said he was optimistic passengers would take advantage of the new service being offered.

"We believe that this six month trial of Hello! magazine will prove a huge success with passengers flying to/from Birmingham, Edinburgh and London Stansted," he explained.

The carrier also recently announced a new service from Stansted Airport to the Greek island of Corfu in June this year.

Mr McNamara said the route, the first for the carrier from London to the holiday resort, should deliver 30,000 passengers each year.
