This comes after the service was temporarily moved to Belfast City Airport in January 2010.
The move was made yesterday (May 9th), as the airline believed the plan made commercial sense.
"Our 20 other routes operate from Belfast International and we are now consolidating our overall operation by reinstating our Luton flights from there as well," Ali Gayward, easyJet's commercial manager, said.
She said that the route to Luton Airport was popular with both holidaymakers and business travellers and that as many as three flights would be on offer each day.
Uel Hoey, business development ddirector at the Belfast travel hub, also welcomed the airline's move back to the base.
From October, passengers will also be able to board a new easyJet service from Belfast International Airport to Manchester Airport, with one way fares beginning at £23.99.
