Edinburgh Airport has scooped a new award at a ceremony in Lisbon.
The Scottish travel hub took home the Best European Airport accolade within the five million to ten million passengers a year category at the 7th Annual Airports Council International Europe Best Airport Awards.
Judges highlighted the dedication of the facility's staff as a major reason why it proved successful.
Managing director of Edinburgh Airport Kevin Brown said the prize adds to a number of other recent successes, such as attracting more airlines and new routes.
Thomas Cook, flybe, easyJet and Thomson Holidays are just some of the airlines that use this travel hub, flying to destinations such as Bodrum, Amsterdam, Corfu, Brussels and Ibizia.
Mr Brown commented: "As a team across the airport, we've dealt with snow, ash, strikes, whilst all the time attracting more airlines and routes and developing our customer experience."
He added that work continues to "grow Edinburgh into a truly leading European airport".
