Featured Hotel of the Month: Arora Gatwick

Quirky Feature: The Arora has its own Internet Café

Top Tip: If you want a quieter night’s sleep ask for a room overlooking the front entrance

Our featured airport hotel of the month is the Arora near Gatwick and you’ll feel like you’re in the late 90’s and early 2000’s again with its internet café! Only joking, in fact, it’s perfect if you’re a business traveller in need of some WIFI to finish that presentation or meeting agenda the night before.

The Long-List of Reasons to stay at the Arora:

If you are looking for business-like proficiency and excellence on your business trip, then the four-star Arora hotel is the way to go. It’s located within easy distance of transport links such as the M23 and M25, Crawley Train Station and bus transfers to Gatwick Airport.

Turn up to the stylish modern Arora and be greeted by the fantastic cascading fountains in the forecourt and the four storey waterfall in the light airy foyer of the building. Check-in to your room (accessible rooms available on request), and enjoy your queen-sized bed, that is unless you are staying in the penthouse suite – in which case you can stretch out a little further in that king-sized bed you booked. Catch up on social media with the free WIFI or pop down to the Internet Café to do some work. Want to get a quick work-out in before your flight? No problem at the Arora – go to the cardiovascular focused Energie gym and get your sweat-on with 50 high quality exercise stations and a steam room for great relaxation. You can also get beauty treatments and massages here (pre-booked).

If you need to do that last minute bit of shopping before your trip, the hotel is a short walk from the town centre Mall with a good selection of shops.
Catch some dinner in the Grill Restaurant. Enjoy the Rosette Award winning food, which is made from local produce sourced from Sussex and the surrounding counties, and the seasonal dishes which make the most of what the time of year has to offer.

If you want to go for a stroll you can always pop into Morgan’s Pub next door with classic pub food and live sports. It’s a more chilled out atmosphere in which the avid football fan can keep abreast of the latest game.

Or, if you’re too early for dinner but want an early night, why don’t you swing by the Palm Deli & Bar and pick up a Panini and a salad before you get that much-needed good night’s sleep in preparation for your travel the next day.

After doing that last minute work, checking in with your social accounts and hitting the gym, you really should be going to bed – there’s nothing like being well-rested and relaxed before travelling. Check out by 12pm and get one of the bus transfers to Gatwick leaving your car in the safety of the underground secure car park while you’re away.

Here’s a review from our very own Liz after our Christmas Party was held here:

Service at the Gatwick Arora is great and with a smile!

The bedrooms are modern and spacious compared to many hotels, perfect for relaxing the night before a flight. Even better, you can get beauty treatments and massages too.

The hotel’s AA Rosette Grill Room offers delicious dishes from locally sourced ingredients and it was easy to get to the hotel because of how near it is to Gatwick.

Yep, we’re convinced, the Arora has got it down when it comes to amenities in an airport hotel.
