The Amalfi Coast is particularly beautiful in June, with the flowers in full bloom and warm, sunny days. With hidden coves and beaches to explore, and mountains trails to follow, there is plenty here to keep you occupied. Amalfi has a Mediterranean climate, so June has the ideal weather to wander around the historic towns or relax on the beach. The sea temperature is great at this time of year for swimming and snorkelling.

A holiday in Corfu in June will mean plenty of sunshine, warm sea temperatures and very little chance of rain. Being the rainiest of the Greek islands, Corfu is lush and green throughout the year, with beautiful plants and flowers, but June is one of the driest months here. June is the perfect month to visit Majorca, with long, warm sunny days and a gentle sea breeze. There are plenty of family-friendly resorts with safe beaches for children to play in the sea. And for those wanting a more cosmopolitan break with vibrant nightlife, there is Palma or Magaluf. Inland, this island has rugged mountains and an abundance of vineyards to visit. Definitely one of our favourites for June.

The Makarska Riviera in Croatia sits between pine tree-lined beaches and majestic mountains. There is plenty to do for everyone, whether you want to relax on the beach, visit one of the many islands, or wander around historic Dubrovnik. Alternatively, go to see the thunderous waterfalls at Krka or, for the more adventurous, there is whitewater rafting or zip lines to try out! The Makarska Summer (Makarsko ljeto) starts from mid-June through to the end of September, with numerous modern and traditional local events taking place.
