We understand the importance of feeling secure when using the Internet and have taken steps to ensure that information is collected in a secure environment. All payment details for Internet bookings are processed securely using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 bit encryption between your Internet browser and our website.
When entering your details on the booking form for secured parking, airport lounges and travel insurance you will see a padlock icon in the bottom right hand corner of your browser. This shows the user that the page is secure. Our online hotel reservation system is also secure and your credit card information will be encrypted. However because the site may be "frames enabled" the secure icon may not automatically appear on your browser window.
After you have clicked on the "Book Now" button to access the "Booking Details" page, the reservation process is secure.
If your browser is set up properly, when you first enter a secure page, you will see a warning that you will be viewing pages over a secure connection. If you do not get this type of message, you may need to ensure that your browser is set up correctly to notify you when entering secure pages.
Unfortunately because there are numerous browsers and browser versions, we are unable to address each possible way to view the security of our reservation pages. However, the following is how to check security on the "Booking Form" page if you are using Internet Explorer 5.0:
Verifying Security on a page
Right click on "Booking Form" page
Click on "Certificates" button - the secure icon will appear and an explanation of the Certificate Properties will be displayed
