Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Make sure you call the car park 15-20 minutes before you arrive on the number on your confirmation. Enter option 1. When you arrive at Birmingham International Airport, stay in the right-hand lane and follow it all the way to "Valet Parking" customers only.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Just call Maple Parking on the number on your confirmation option 1 when you have collected your bags, As you exit the terminal building, follow the signs to "Valet Parking". (where you dropped the car off).

What security measures does the car park have?

The site where your car will be stored has CCTV, a high fence, entry and exit barriers, floodlighting and regular patrols. Staff are CRB checked and Comprehensively insured to drive on the highway.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

Illegal Vehicles: It's your responsibility to make sure that your vehicle has road tax, holds a valid MOT certificate and is roadworthy / legal. If your car isn't legal or safe to drive, Maple will not be able to drive it to the car park, and you will not be able to get a refund. If you have a Blue Badge, you can be met in the disabled parking bays next to the terminal. You'll need to ask for this when you call to say you are 20 minutes from arriving. Vehicle Restrictions: Parking is for cars only and cars must fit in to a standard sized parking space (2.4m wide x 4.8m long).

The low rating is due to the very poor service on our return to Birmingham last night.We did everything as instructed and rang when we had collected our luggage. We were told to make our way to the collecting area and the car would be there in about 10 minutes. After 20 minutes in the freezing 1 degree temp. and rain starting to fall, we rang the number again and were told that our car had not left the compound yet as they were waiting for a driver! There were quite a few drivers in the car park where we were waiting and so one then left to collect our car. This duly arrived after a total of 35 minutes in the freezing cold and rain. The driver informed us that there were only 7 people working and they had too many flights to meet. We have used various meet and greet many times over the years but this service was absolutely diabolical and the last thing you want at the end of a holiday. Never again!!!

I always book meet & greet service at Birmingham Airport and usually with Maple Manor, always found the guys very polite and helpful, this time the return of my car was so much quicker which was more acceptable than the normal 20 minutes! Would recommend Maple Manor!

I have only provided 3 stars, but to be fair this is probably a little harsh on your own company/the people we dealt with at Birmingham airport. Those employees were actually very good indeed (including the ones we spoke to on the phone). The outgoing experience at the airport was fine. The return was very much less so I'm afraid to say. The situation was absolutely chaotic in and around the area where we were due to collect our vehicle. I had already rung to report that we had arrived back, collected our luggage and gone through passport control, etc. I was told the vehicle would be with us in 10-15 minutes. We were outside in the right position at that time. However, it was at least a further 20 minutes before the vehicle arrived. We had a very elderly relative with us. It was a very dangerous and frightening situation for us trying to look after him and all out luggage as cars were coming at us from all angles, even though we were stood supposedly safely on the allocated/marked walkways in the car park area. At the same time we were trying to keep any eye out for our vehicle. Although the weather conditions were okay at the time, if it had been raining or very cold I noticed that there was no shelter of any description in that area. It was not a very good experience at all I'm afraid. I will certainly think twice about using Birmingham airport parking facilities again in the future.

Agent was at airport to collect, the car but on return we had to wait for 30 minutes for the car to be delivered, although they had said there would be a delay of approximately 20 minutes. They were apologetic and I 3would have no hesitation in using them again.

Directions for Maple Meet & Greet


Please call us on the number on your confirmation 9 (select option 1) 15-20 minutes prior to your arrival at Birmingham Airport.
Please have ready your 'Booking Name' and 'Booking Reference' when you call and we will dispatch our driver to meet you.

Follow the directions below to the meeting point at the terminal.

Please allow sufficient time for our driver to complete our check-in procedure and conduct the necessary photographic vehicle inspection on your arrival. This usually takes 3-4 minutes. Failure to leave adequate time for our driver to complete this may relinquish any claim for damage not recorded as a result. If you are running late this can be completed by our driver after you have left but before he or she moves your car

Directions
When you arrive at Birmingham International Airport, stay in the right-hand lane and follow it all the way to "Valet Parking" customers only. Go through the barrier and collect a ticket to hand to Maple Chauffeur. Park your vehicle in the designated Maple Parking bays and a uniformed chauffeur with ID will be there to collect your vehicle.

If you're going to arrive outside the time arranged, please give the car park as much notice as possible.

Return Instructions
Once You have collected your luggage, Please Call Maple Parking on the number on your confirmation option 1.
As you exit the terminal building, follow the signs to "Valet Parking" (where you dropped the car off).
Your vehicle will be returned to the designated Maple Parking bays. A uniformed chauffeur will return your vehicle.
. Please be aware that due to time restrictions in the car park you must be at the collection point within 10 minutes of your call, or you may incur additional charges payable at the exit barrier.
. If you are returning earlier than the date or time you have provided, we must know 24 hours in advance to avoid any delay.
. From time to time the meeting point may change at short notice. You will be informed when you call if this will affect you.

Other important information
If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, any extra days will be charged at £10.00 per day (or part day). No refunds will be issued for part used stays. Payments for extra days must be settled before the vehicle is handed over and if requested a receipt can be sent by email to you.

Vehicle Restrictions: Parking is for cars only and cars must fit in to a standard sized parking space (2.4m wide x 4.8m long). Extra charges will apply for cars that do not fit in to a standard parking space and must be arranged with Maple prior to the drop off date. Very large vehicles and minibuses may be refused if prior arrangements are not made. Minibuses / vehicles with more than 8 passenger seats cannot be accepted for Meet & Greet services.

Late Returns: If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have booked, extra days parking will be charged at £10 per day or part day after your booked return date.

Early Returns: If you are returning ahead of schedule, please telephone Maple ASAP. They must have 24 hrs notice (or as much notice as possible) so that they can make sure the vehicle is ready and you are not kept waiting on your return. Refunds cannot be given for part used bookings.
