It was all pretty straightforward and I was in and out quickly. The only issue I would have is that parts of the car parkvwere very dark (obviously night night return) and better lighting would be an improvement

We found the car park really easily and it is very close to the terminal. The only problem that we had was that the barrier would not raise on exit. We had to phone the attendant who let us out instantly.

I have used his car park many times before and found it to be straightforward. Unfortunately on this occasion there was a problem with exiting the car park. None of the barriers seemed to be working. The machine did not recognise the exit card. I tried to insert it multiple times but it was not accepted. I phoned the mobile number given on the exit machine which went straight to voicemail. I then pressed the 'Help' button but was told it was busy. I presume this was because all the drivers at the other exit barriers were also trying to get help. Eventually someone answered, asked if I had pre-booked, took my name and registration and then the barrier raised. There was no explanation or apology. It was very frustrating after a long flight and a long queue at passport control. I do not think that this was the fault of FHR. There was probably a malfunction of the exit machines for some reason. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

We love this car park as you just walk across the road and you are off home! No trouble getting in and out. you now get issued with a ticket on entry but exiting is just lifting of the barrier automatically.

Car Park 5 - Flex Plus (N)

Booking this parking online was very easy and I have been using this service for years. On this particular trip, the barrier to the parking did not rise and I was advised by other drives stuck behind me "to press the button for a ticket" . This was something I was not supposed to do and naturally got worried that I would have to pay twice. I have emailed FHR about the issues while on holiday and they resolved the issue before I got back to the car. Thank you FHR !

Very easy. So close to the airport terminal that it's less walking than using valet parking plus the reassurance of knowing where the car has been kept whilst you're away, clean, under cover and with nothing added to your car's mileage.

There were muddy boot prints left, both on the front and rear carpets of the car. It looks like Blue Circle is parking their cars in a field somewhere. I am going to have to spend the weekend cleaning the carpets....ugh! We had just cleaned them before setting off to Birmingham. Really unhappy that the car was returned in this state. It ought to be returned as it was left. I am still going to score as a three star due to the promptness of the service and its close proximity to the terminal building.

A great service, drive in and park, leave your vehicle and walk to departures which is a couple of minutes walk. On return once you have your luggage ring the numbers given and let them know you are on your way to collect vehicle. Collect your key from the office and you’re on your way home. Excellent service.

Car Park Birmingham - Station Meet & Greet

Excellent alternative to the traditional car parks on site at the airport. After dropping off the car next to the rail station it is just a 50m walk to the station. From there on in it's all under cover straight through to the main terminal building. No time wasted trying to find a parking space, no dragging of suitcases on uneven surfaces outside in wet weather or hanging around waiting for a bus! Meet and greet staff we encountered were reliable, courteous and professional.

Booking was easy, and competively priced to the drop and go option. I liked being able to park my car securely and take my keys with me. Access to and from the carpark was easy with no issues. Reading previous reviews made me a bit uneasy if I was to be charged extra or have issues when exiting but I had none, we were delayed flying home and waited an hour for bag collection and therefore my booked exit time was over by about 2 hours and wasnt charged any extra. I would recommend and will use again if competively priced. Thank you , booking, parking my car was the easiest and the most hassle free part of my journey!

Airparks Self Park

Parking the car was fine. On return we waited for the coach but there were more people than the coach could take, a plane load from Mexico. The driver said he would ring for another coach to be sent straight out - none arrived. We were left waiting in the freezing cold.

Having originally booked to park at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, my flight was cancelled and moved to Birmingham. The call taker at FHR was polite and helpful moving the booking over without problems Parking found on the airport although on the website it was unclear and I could only see the option for meet and greet which I did not want. However the call taker found me the right option and parking right opposite the terminal entrance. Perfect.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cancelling a booking is dependent on the type of product booked and the car park type as Non-flexible bookings cannot be cancelled at any time.

Flexible bookings can be cancelled any time after the booking is made, up to 24 hours before your booking arrival date.

There is a £10 cancellation fee, with the balance refunded. unless you took out the waiver fee when booking.

You can make the cancellation yourself by going to the help page and clicking on Cancel Booking

Holders of the Park Mark® award have been risk assessed by a crime prevention officer from the local police. The Safer Parking Scheme is an initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers and is managed by the British Parking Association.

We'll send you an email confirmation following your booking. This will confirm all the details of your booking, including a booking reference, so you can check that everything is ok.

If you didn't receive a booking confirmation email from us, please check your email provider spam/junk folder.

To re-send your booking confirmation, find your booking and select the 'Re-send booking confirmation' option.

It is important to have access to your Booking Confirmation, but you don’t have to print it. You must however ensure it is fully visible on your phone or device, so you can see all the information, directions and procedures you need to follow.

Booking Confirmations are sent upon completion of your booking, so if you don’t see it in your inbox please check your Junk/Spam folder in case it is there. 

You can view or print or resend your confirmation voucher yourself by going to our help section and clicking on  View Booking or Resend Confirmation Email.

If you do not have the booking reference number, you can email us, or call us.

There is no charge to amend your car details.

You can make the change yourself by going to our help section and clicking on Amend Booking.

An invoice showing payment made will be sent to you by separate email from either Worldpay or from PayPal. 

We don't use the parking confirmation as a payment receipt, as they sometimes need to be handed over to the car park.  

You can get a VAT invoice by going to our Help page and clicking on Request VAT Invoice

Most car parks charge per day or part thereof, i.e. they count the day you enter the car park and the day you leave. That means a 7 night trip is 8 calculated as days parking and a 14 night trip will be 15 days parking.

This will depend on the car park you book, but we recommend that you arrive to drop the car off at least minutes 30 minutes prior to your earliest check-in/bag drop time. 

The 'parking from' time on your confirmation is the time slot the car park has allocated you, so it’s important to let us know if you need to change the time, if its more than 24 hours before you are due to park. If it is less than 24 hours before your meet is due, you should call the chauffeurs using the number on your confirmation voucher.

Vehicle Details We can update vehicle details at any point. There is no charge for amending vehicle details.

Dates & Times Most bookings can be changed up to 24 hours before the booked arrival date. However, if you have booked an option marked as Non-refundable or Saver then the dates and times on these options cannot be amended and the booking cannot be cancelled. We are unable to amend details with 24 hours of your booked arrival date.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund on bookings that aren’t used due to a vehicle breaking down.

It's not a problem if your flight back to Birmingham Airport is delayed. Your car will be kept safe and you can pay for any additional parking at the car park when you return to collect your vehicle.
