As always easy parking at Birmingham airport FHR. Had a change of vehicle between booking and arriving which was easy to change. Only issue was that the ANPR didn't pick up on my number plate on leaving the carpark which was dealt with swiftly.

There were issues on leaving the car park. The barriers would not recognise my car and would not open. I pressed the help button only for the first operator to disconnect me. The second operator was very helpful and opened the barrier. I have used this car park several times without issu but sadly not on this occasion

Airparks Short Run

Staff were a pleasure to deal with. We were the only passengers on the way back from the airport. A pleasurable experience. Only downside was on dropping the car off before our holiday we were directed to an area that was covered in brables.It was difficult to get the cases out of the boot.

Easy to book for car park 5 One issue on arrival and departure number plate recognition didn’t work. Both times had to ask for assistance, not a great thing at 4am going out waiting 5 minutes for a response. Same happened on way out luckily answered as everyone exiting seemed to have the same issue. Otherwise it’s fine but would use car park 1 in future

Quick efficient process. Was greeted straight away, shown our location. Got the bus within 10 mins. Picked the bus up on return within 10 mins. Picked up the car which was as we left it.

Easy to book and park. Wasn't sure where to put the ticket in the machine on exiting as the slot appeared to be a credit card slot especially as it was next to the card reader.

Valet Parking Flex Plus

Very close to the terminal. Quick and easy drop-off and collection. Would be useful if they a few of their own baggage trolleys. We arrived at about 3am with 2 wheel-less large and heavy soft bags and had to wander around trying to find one in a nearby car park. Fortunately one of their staff went along with us to show us where they were located.

Very easy process from start to finish whilst booking for our holiday parking. Just a few days prior to us travelling I developed a minor problem with my vehicle so decided to take my partners car so changed the registration and vehicle model on our booking with great ease, with almost instant confirmation that these changes had been processed for us. Clear instructions on the booking confirmation allowed us as a family to relax whilst travelling to the airport with plenty of spaces to chose from, allowing us plenty of room to unload our luggage safely. Luckily we found a spot directly opposite a shuttle bus stop who turned up just as we were lifting the last case out of the car, although there was nobody else at the stop the driver was happy to wait for us, allowing us to catch the bus instantly rather than having to wait around with 2 young children. From start to finish we couldn’t fault this service

Well lit felt safe to walk by myself to car park 5. No issues leaving the car however couldn't hear instructions on "tannoy" when entering, would have preferred a person.

Great location but a bit tricky to find on sat nav ( you are told this on confirmation). Drivers are very helpful with getting luggage in and out of buses. Buses were clean and comfortable and enough space for luggage. One thing I would suggest is that it is clearer on pick up of arrival at the airport, which bus goes where. Unfortunately we ended up on the wrong bus going to the car park tht was 15 minutes away. However, I would like to thank the two gentlemen at the reception at 9.10pm last night (3/5/23) who kindly saw that with two young children that late at night and arranged transport to get us to the correct car park without having to go all the way back to the airport and wait for another bus. They were also very helpful with the luggage. A real credit to your team

FHR service was great. B’ham car park 5 system does not recognise number plates on FHR bookings to open barriers. This has happened on last 2 occasions. (Both entry and on exit) you have to call help on barriers.

The barriers did not open with the use of the Car registration number both on arrival and departure which then involved the use of the phone and it became apparent that they appeared to be checking the booking rather than the barriers operating automatically.However we were allowed in and out following the check.The prices also appear to have increased compared with previous bookings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cancelling a booking is dependent on the type of product booked and the car park type as Non-flexible bookings cannot be cancelled at any time.

Flexible bookings can be cancelled any time after the booking is made, up to 24 hours before your booking arrival date.

There is a £10 cancellation fee, with the balance refunded. unless you took out the waiver fee when booking.

You can make the cancellation yourself by going to the help page and clicking on Cancel Booking

Holders of the Park Mark® award have been risk assessed by a crime prevention officer from the local police. The Safer Parking Scheme is an initiative of the Association of Chief Police Officers and is managed by the British Parking Association.

We'll send you an email confirmation following your booking. This will confirm all the details of your booking, including a booking reference, so you can check that everything is ok.

If you didn't receive a booking confirmation email from us, please check your email provider spam/junk folder.

To re-send your booking confirmation, find your booking and select the 'Re-send booking confirmation' option.

It is important to have access to your Booking Confirmation, but you don’t have to print it. You must however ensure it is fully visible on your phone or device, so you can see all the information, directions and procedures you need to follow.

Booking Confirmations are sent upon completion of your booking, so if you don’t see it in your inbox please check your Junk/Spam folder in case it is there. 

You can view or print or resend your confirmation voucher yourself by going to our help section and clicking on  View Booking or Resend Confirmation Email.

If you do not have the booking reference number, you can email us, or call us.

There is no charge to amend your car details.

You can make the change yourself by going to our help section and clicking on Amend Booking.

An invoice showing payment made will be sent to you by separate email from either Worldpay or from PayPal. 

We don't use the parking confirmation as a payment receipt, as they sometimes need to be handed over to the car park.  

You can get a VAT invoice by going to our Help page and clicking on Request VAT Invoice

Most car parks charge per day or part thereof, i.e. they count the day you enter the car park and the day you leave. That means a 7 night trip is 8 calculated as days parking and a 14 night trip will be 15 days parking.

This will depend on the car park you book, but we recommend that you arrive to drop the car off at least minutes 30 minutes prior to your earliest check-in/bag drop time. 

The 'parking from' time on your confirmation is the time slot the car park has allocated you, so it’s important to let us know if you need to change the time, if its more than 24 hours before you are due to park. If it is less than 24 hours before your meet is due, you should call the chauffeurs using the number on your confirmation voucher.

Vehicle Details We can update vehicle details at any point. There is no charge for amending vehicle details.

Dates & Times Most bookings can be changed up to 24 hours before the booked arrival date. However, if you have booked an option marked as Non-refundable or Saver then the dates and times on these options cannot be amended and the booking cannot be cancelled. We are unable to amend details with 24 hours of your booked arrival date.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund on bookings that aren’t used due to a vehicle breaking down.

It's not a problem if your flight back to Birmingham Airport is delayed. Your car will be kept safe and you can pay for any additional parking at the car park when you return to collect your vehicle.
