What is the airport transfer frequency?
No transfers required
What is the drop-off procedure?
When you arrive the barrier will rise automatically, allowing you to drive in and park. Then you just need to walk for 5 minutes to the terminal, keeping your keys with you while you’re away.
What is the pick-up procedure?
When you return simply walk back to the car park and pick up your car. The barrier will rise automatically on your way out, allowing you to start the drive home.
What security measures does the car park have?
CCTV, High Perimeter Fencing and Regular Patrols
Additional Information
Long Stay 1 car park does not have any disabled parking bays - we recommend taking a look at the Short Stay or Long Stay 2 car parks for those. There is a Special Assistance Call Point which is linked to the terminal’s service desk and a sheltered area where you can wait for Special Assistance operatives to meet you. Car Park 1 does not accept trailers.

Good parking only problem if it is raining there is no transport to terminal.... A five minute walk in the rain is not pleasant.

The reason i have given a 4 star rating is the fact that we could not get out of the car park as it was asking for more money and barrier would not go up. It put about 15 to 20 mins on to our travel time. We cane across a car park attendant who got us out! Otherwise excellent

Excellent- no problems at all.
The lady twice I have booked with you for Cardiff airport, for some reason the scanner isn’t picking up our car registration number,so have to take a ticket and go to customer services on our return for them to process the ticket which is a bit annoying, have a nother booking for June so hope we don’t have the same problem.Have never had this problem before and it’s the same vehicle. If it does happen again will consider using a different firm .

The process of purchasing from FHR was simple but we were unable to find Cardiff's long stay 1 car park, it's not well signposted and there were barriers which once you entered you were unable to get out. Thankfully this wasn't a problem when we left the airport but it was a far longer walk than it should have been. I appreciate this is Cardiffs problem but we use the airport regularly and still failed to find it. You are likely to have negative feedback from others.

Good facilities. With number plate recognition there is now no need to take a ticket or queue to have it validated on your return (FHR, you need to update your info on this).
