The price of parking was very competitive. But upon arrival at Cardiff airport .the number plate recognition did not recognise my car registration and I had to take a parking ticket from the machine to gain entry to the car park When I tried to leave the car park a few days later .the same thing happened and I had to wait at the barrier and contact an attendant who then asked me my registration number .checked his pre booked list and raised the barrier so I could leave . Only a little problem and took a short while to resolve but would have been very frustrating if the car park was busy and had a queue of cars behind me .

I parked in Longstay 1 at Cardiff airport, the parking was ok but the walkout ramp was a bit far. The steps near the airport were difficult to manage with heavy cases.if this could be converted into a ramp it would be a lot better. The other problem I had was with Cardiff airport itself so it wont effect you but if you could point the problem out to them then I would be very grateful. When I landed it was very dark and raining and I left me wife in the terminal building with our cases and I went to collect my car but when I went to get into the pick up zone the ticket machine was out of tickets so I pressed the assist button and a voice told me to press the other station button for a ticket, I couldn't see it because the station was badly lit and I couldn't even see the button, the man on the other end was quite unhelpful and rude, eventually I found the button but it was so badly lit it was difficult to see. it would be better if this button was illuminated

Simple to book the parking, and a great place to park, conveniently placed to the airport.

Easy to use and near to the terminal.
