What is the drop-off procedure?When you arrive at the car park the barrier will raise automatically and youll be directed where to park. When youre ready to head to the airport take the included shuttle to the terminal itll take around 10 minutes to get you there
What is the pick-up procedure?When you return catch the bus back to Offsite Park and Ride from the red stop at the front of the terminal.
What security measures does the car park have?Cars are secured with CCTV, security fencing, floodlighting and regular patrols.
What else do I need to know?Unfortunately there are no accessible spaces at the car park, but you will have to option of parking close to the entrance if you need to. The car park cant accept minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers.

Car park is very handy for the airport with a quick and efficient transport. The only criticism is at the airport where the drop off is in the car park with no ramp to the level of the terminal.

Directions for Offsite Park & RideLeave the M4 at junction 33 and follow the A4232, which is signposted Barry and Cardiff airport.
Take the first exit off the A4232, which is signposted Barry, Cardiff airport, A4050, A48 and Cardiff centre. At the roundabout take the third exit, which is signposted A4050, Barry and Cardiff airport.
At the next six roundabouts follow signs for the A4050, Barry and Cardiff airport.
At the seventh roundabout take second exit, again signposted A4050, Barry and Cardiff airport.
Take the second exit at the eighth roundabout.
At the ninth roundabout, take the first exit. The entrance to Airparks and the Sky Plaza Hotel is about 200 yards down the road on the right. Please report to the car park reception.
The postcode for sat nav systems is CF62 3BT. Please make sure you choose the Sky Plaza Hotel, rather than the Vale Park Hotel (a local B&B) that may also display on your sat nav.
When you reach the car park the barrier will lift automatically, allowing you to drive into one of the parking lanes ahead of you. A member of the team will greet you, give you a ticket and direct you to the parking area on the gravel patch. Look after your ticket as you'll need it to leave the car park.
Then catch the bus to the airport. Its included in the price, runs on demand and should take around 10 minutes.
Returning to the car park
When you return catch the bus back to Offsite Park and Ride from the red stop at the front of the terminal.
Once youve picked up your car drive to the automatic exit barrier with your ticket and confirmation. A member of the team will greet you before you go, and then you can begin your drive home.
