Bus took a while to arrive after 2 calls.First call to answering system so took advice and went to bay 7.Waited another 10mins phones back and got someone who said they would send the bus so is no action taken when system on automated bus did show and we got there handed keys and all fine.Maybe better letting phone ring out till someone answers or would we be standing at gate7 and you are unaware we are there

Drop off went smoothly however pick up not so much. Mini buss pulled away just as we reached bus stop; had driver checked off names he would not have missed us. Next bus came in short time but we were left standing in the cold an unneccesary portion of time.

Great location and friendly staff with quick service, on arrival. But on return , one criticism is that the last twice we have used your service, for the short distance Flyingscot is from the airport we have had to wait a considerable time to get picked up, and that is one of the reasons we book with your company as we assume we would be picked up quickly.

Driver was loud, rude and unhelpful. Toilets were worse I’ve seen in my life. Worse than any third word country. Although I believe they were only temporarily. However would not send a human being to use them even if temporary, poor lighting dangerous steps and filthy conditions

We collected our bags at Edinburgh airport, then called to inform Flying Scot as required at 10:14 pm. Then went to collection point. It took over an hour before we were collected. Finally collected our car at 11:30 pm. Very disorganised, no apologies or reason given for delay. Could never recommend Flying Scot after this experience.

After using Flying Scot in Edinburgh for nearly thirty years, I have to say we won't be back. The one star I have given is purely for a decent outward service. If my score was for the return pick-up it would be minus five! We flew into Edinburgh from Athens via Heathrow on 4.11.19 and I called them once we had collected our bags and were walking towards the airport exit. The number they give you to call is answered by an answer machine where you are told to leave your name and go to Stand 7. I did that at 19.19 hrs. We walked out of the airport to find it was pouring rain, a horrible night. Just as we walked up to Stand 7 the van parked there moved away so I assume the office did not tell the driver we were on our way. We hoped it wouldn't be long until the next one came. After waiting at the Stand until 1935 hrs I called the other number on the card and the person I spoke to didn't even seem to know I had called, or to expect us and said the van would be there in a couple of minutes - probably another ten minutes in actual fact. I think in total we waited about 20 to 25 minutes before the van came. The driver didn't open the door so that people could board, just leaving us standing int he rain. My husband took the luggage to the back of the van, and came onto the bus, assuming that as usual, the driver would load the cases. After a minute the driver came and said "Are you just leaving the cases there?", obviously to let us know he wasn't going to load them. This is a first - in all the years we have used Flying Scot, our bags have been loaded for us. I always assumed that they had a duty of care with other people's luggage and that was the reason why the driver always loaded them. Apparently no longer the case. My husband, who is 65 and has had two heart attacks, then went out and loaded our bags. When we got to the car park, I went in to get my car keys and the chap there told me it was just outside. After a few minutes, I found it round the corner of the building in quite a dark area. It was too dark to check the condition of the car but I will do this tomorrow and hope that there is no further cause for complaint on that score. I recall that when we first started using Flying Scot at Paisley, the service was fantastic, we were brought to the car park quickly, our car had been brought to the front of the office in a well lit area, the engine was running and the lights were on and the boot was open ready for our cases. It really was first class. Sadly no longer the case in Edinburgh! The driver's attitude, plus the twenty or so minutes wait in the pouring rain, did nothing to endear us to this company or keep us loyal and we certainly will vote with our feet and go elsewhere in future.

Please be aware that satellite navigation systems are not guaranteed to take you directly to the car park, please use the directions provided below. We cannot be held responsible if you fail to locate the car park or are delayed. Take the A8 towards Edinburgh Airport;
At the roundabout, follow signs for the terminal building (East Field Road;
At the second roundabout you will see the Hilton Hotel on the right hand side;
Take the first left into Fair View;
The car park is 400 yards along Fair View on the right hand side.

DO NOT ENTER 'SCOT PARK' THIS IS THE NCP CAR PARK AND IS NOT THE CAR PARK YOU ARE BOOKED INTO - YOU MUST GO TO FLYING SCOT PARKING

IMPORTANT:
- Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before check-in
- You will be required to leave your keys with the attendant.
- This car park will not accept any vans - if you book and turn up with a van you will be turned away

On return

The buses will collect you there and take you back to your car .

All vehicles are inspected on arrival at the car park by a member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff. Any customer not present at the inspection of their own vehicle agrees to the report submitted by the member of Lowcost/Flying Scot Edinburgh staff and therefore cannot claim at a later date for any damage on this report. Insurance cover can be arranged, if prior notification is given for a joint external inspection cost (£5.00) and please allow extra (30mins) for the checkin to be done in time before departure. Otherwise your car would be parked under your own insurance and at your own risk.

Hi we have a Ford Ranger are these allowedFlying Scot will not accept a Ford Ranger, however Low Cost which is under the sam emanagement will - vehicles may be subject to an extra charge - assessed on arrival 
Do I park my own car? Am I required to leave my keys for the duration of the stay? The car is parked by the car park. You are required to leave your keys with the car park.
Would like to book but maybe changing my car in Spring with a different registration number. Is that a problem?ThanksWe do not charge to change the vehicle details. Once you have the new details please email or call us and we will update your booking.
