Meet and Greet Service

You will be met at the airport and your car will be taken to the secure car park by an insured driver and then delivered back to the terminal ready for collection on your return.

What is the drop-off procedure?

Please call ACE parking twenty minutes before arrival to your terminal on the number on your confirmation0 and select OPTION 1 - A uniformed ACE or Maple Manor Parking agent will handle the check-in and car movements at Gatwick Airport.

What is the pick-up procedure?

Please call ACE on the number on your confirmation0 once you have **collected your luggage and cleared customs** to request your vehicle returned. Early Returns: If you are returning ahead of schedule, please telephone ACE ASAP.

What security measures does the car park have?

Uses modern security systems such as alarms and/or CCTV and is regularly visited by a specially trained Police Officer to maintain their Park Mark award.Awarded: Park Mark, Safer Parking Award

What else do I need to know?

We only accept bookings for cars and small vans at the standard rate shown. If you wish to bring a larger vehicle there will be an additional charge and you will need to call us to book this. Trailers will not be accepted. ACE Parking is also unable to accept the following vehicles: Aston Martin, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Bentley and Maserati. If you are delayed on return extra days parking are charged at £10 per day.

Very easy to book the meet and greet parking through FHR at very good rates. Someone was at the meeting place to take the car as soon as we got to the airport which was brilliant and the drop off was quick and professionally handled by the driver. And on pick up of my vehicle again very easy / quick and professional with no hassle to the customer what so ever

We almost always use ACE, as we have had such good service. This time all went very well. On our last trip, our flight arrived just aft 0500 on a very frosty morning and we had to wait 45 minutes plus for our car to arrive in the car park. This trip we came back later and remembered to call a little bit earlier - np probs!

Drop off was fine - good directions. Staff on hand were courteous. Pick up was delayed - as instructed i called as soon as i picked up my baggage but was then waiting 20 mins at in the car park for my car to be delivered. I think 5/10 mins is acceptable but 20 minutes is more than i expected when paying for a meet and greet. So a mixed experience.

We book Meet and Greet services as we are disabled and not able to walk any distance. Historically Meet and Greet services have collected and returned our car at the kerbside outside of the airport terminal. This operator uses the car park of the Sofitel Hotel which is over 200 metres from the terminal, across two roads and at the far end of the hotel's car park. I understand that LGW have changed their rules for Meet and Greet operators - but we will be looking for a better alternative next time.

Our flight was somewhat late yesterday arriving about 0555. Our baggage took forever to come It had been a heavy frost we understand on Thursday night, but even so it was over 45 minutes before our car came. I had phoned prior to departure to ensure you knew eta and the weather at this time of year if often very cold, so we were disappointed everything didn't go as smoothly as it had previously, and after a 13 hour flight we had to wait so long. Hope it won't happen on our next trip in January!

Please be aware it is important to check traffic updates before you leave. There are long-term scheduled roadworks on the M23 near Gatwick Airport. These include overnight closures to the M23 and M23 Junction 10, that may affect your journey to the car park.

You no longer need to call Ace Parking on your way to Gatwick unless you are arriving more than 2 hours early or late.
Please just make sure you follow carefully the directions and arrival instructions below to the meeting point at your terminal. You can still call us if you need any help on the day of travel, otherwise just proceed to the dedicated meeting point below where our friendly staff will check your details and our drivers check over and park your car.
For help on the day, if needed, call Ace Parking on the number on your confirmation and select option 1. Please be sure to have your paperwork and or booking reference ready on arrival so that our friendly staff can identify you.

Directions & Arrival instructions

North Terminal - Please note that the meeting point has recently changed and the new instructions are below
For Sat Nav's use post code RH6 0PJ but only as far as the Main North Terminal Roundabout
As you enter the North Terminal from the main roundabout, stay in the right-hand lane for "Drop Off and Hotels".
Keep in the right-hand lane following signs for "hotels" and "Sofitel Hotel".
Keep driving towards the Pedestrian traffic lights between the two hotels.
Turn right immediately after the traffic lights into the Sofitel Hotel Car Park.
Take a ticket from the barrier and keep it for our driver.
Once in the car park follow signs for Meet & Greet Operators
When you arrive in the dedicated Meet & Greet area, park in a Meet and Greet bay and look out for our uniformed staff.
If you need any help finding the meeting point then please call Ace Parking on the number on your confirmation 0 and select option 1

South Terminal- Sat. Nav. Postcode RH6 0LL

As you drive in to the South Terminal, please stay in the right hand lane and follow signs for SHORT STAY & PICK UP. At the SHORT STAY barriers take a ticket which you will need to give to your driver. Drive in to the ORANGE CAR PARK and go up to LEVEL 1. At LEVEL 1 turn right and you will see the APPROVED OPERATOR AREA. Please park up in row D or E as near as you can to the lifts. Please make yourself known to the uniformed Ace (or Maple Manor) staff so that the necessary documentation can be completed with you promptly and you can proceed to check in.

Return Instructions
If you are returning ahead of schedule we must have at least 24 hrs notice to ensure that your vehicle is ready for you upon your return. As soon as you have collected all of your luggage and are ready to clear customs- Call Ace Parking on the number on your confirmation (select option 1) then proceed to arrivals. Be sure to look out for your car and have your documentation to hand as our driver will need to confirm your identity. Please be aware that if you are late in collecting your car, after your phone call to tell us you are ready for it, you may incur additional charges from the Short Stay Car Park.

North Terminal - Please note that the North Terminal meeting point has recently changed - so please read directions carefully.
North Terminal Meeting Point from 1st November 2019:
As you exit North Terminal International Arrivals, turn right and exit the building. Once outside, cross both roads and keep heading straight ahead between the car parks, under the covered walkway to the main terminal forecourt. Once at the main terminal forecourt, you will see the Sofitel Hotel. Cross the road at the pedestrian lights and bear left through the Sofitel Hotel car park - following signs for Meet & Greet Operators located within the Hotel Car Park. Your car will be returned by our uniformed staff in the Meet and Greet Reception area.

Please be aware that if you call for your car and do not collect it within 20 minutes at the meeting point, you will be subject to the Short Stay charges thereafter. If you are returning earlier than the date or time that you booked, please contact Ace Parking ( the number on your confirmation (select option 1) 24 hours in advance to avoid any delays.

South Terminal Please exit the terminal building and follow signs for the 'Short Stay Car Parks' (Orange Car Park 3). Your vehicle will be returned to the 'Approved Operator Area' in Orange Car Park 3 - level 1, ready for you to drive home.
Other Important Information
Due to ongoing works at Gatwick Airport Terminals, the meeting point might change whilst the works are being carried out and in such cases you will be advised when you call us prior to arrival or return.

Vehicle Restrictions
Parking is for cars only and cars must fit in to a standard sized parking space (2.4m wide x 4.8m long).
Extra charges will apply for cars that do not fit in to a standard parking space and must be arranged with Ace Parking prior to the drop off date.
Very large vehicles and minibuses may be refused if prior arrangements are not made. Minibuses / vehicles with more than 8 passenger seats cannot be accepted for Meet & Greet services.
Illegal Vehicles: It is your responsibility to make sure that your vehicle has road tax, holds a valid MOT certificate and is roadworthy / legal. If your car isn't legal and/or safe to drive, Ace Parking will not be able to drive it to the car park, and you will not be able to get a refund. Late Returns: If your return is delayed and you park for longer than you have booked, extra days parking will be charged at £10 per day or part day after your booked return date. Early Returns: If you are returning ahead of schedule, please telephone Ace Parking ASAP. They must have 24 hrs notice (or as much notice as possible) so that they can make sure the vehicle is ready and you are not kept waiting on your return.
Refunds cannot be given for part used bookings.
Meeting point subject to change: Due to ongoing work at both terminals at Gatwick, the 'Approved' meeting points could change on the day. You will be informed when you call if there are any changes that will affect you.
Vehicle Inspection: Please allow enough time for our driver to complete our check-in procedure and conduct the necessary photographic vehicle inspection on your arrival. This usually takes 3-4 minutes. Failure to leave adequate time for our driver to complete this may relinquish any claim for damage not recorded as a result. If you are running late this can be completed by our driver after you have left but before he or she moves your car.

Hi, we are departing from south terminal but arriving back to north terminal. Will our car be greeted with us at north terminal on arrival or do we have to get to south terminal internally?Thank you for your question. You can be met at the South Terminal and have the car returned to the North.  You select your terminal details when making your reservation.

is there a possibility for the car being picked up from the Hilton if you call ACE 10 minutes before you arrive at the airport they will meet you at the Hilton
Where will our car be kept while in your care?
