What else do I need to know?

Please arrive at the car park at least 30 minutes before your earliest recommend check-in timeThere is a maximum vehicle height limit of 2.4 metres or 7 1/2 feet at this car park. APH will retain your car keys. The transfer coaches are unable to accommodate surfboards, windsurfing equipment, bikes or similar large items. The vehicle will be kept in one of the APH car parks and may be driven between car parks by fully insured drivers.

Your car must arrive at the car park with at least 5% vehicle charge and you must supply your own charging lead.



Directions from the M23
Leave at Junction 10 (East Grinstead).
If southbound, take the 1st exit on the roundabout (A264 - Copthorne Way).

OR

If northbound, take the 3rd exit on the roundabout (A264 - Copthorne Way).
At the next roundabout take the 4th exit (A2220) signposted Maidenbower.
Continue on the A2220 following signs to Airport Parking Centre.
After 0.5 miles turn right into Wyevale Garden Centre. You'll see an APH entrance sign.

Please Note: Entering the postcode on sat-nav might not take you directly to the car park entrance. Once on the A2220 (Copthorne Road) please continue driving 0.5 miles until you see Wyevale Garden Centre and the APH entrance sign on your right.

Arrival procedure
Drive through the automated barrier and follow the road markings to the arrival bays.
Check in at Reception. Your car will be charged and then moved to a secure parking bay by a fully trained and insured valet driver.

Take the next transfer bus to the airport terminal.
Please ensure you allow sufficient time to complete your vehicle check-in and transfer to the terminal. You do not need to allow time for your vehicle to be charged; this will be done for you while you head to check in for your flight.

Return procedure
Once you have cleared Customs, follow the signs to the transfer bus stop and take the next transfer bus to the APH Car Park.
Collect your keys from Reception and pick up your car, which will have been charged for you.
There are staff on hand 24 hours a day, if you need any assistance

Transfer details
APH Gatwick Park and Ride customers benefit from regular transfers to both terminals. APH shuttles run every 10-15 minutes, average transfer time is 10-12 minutes to the airport.
Returns from both North and South Terminal to the APH car park run at similar intervals, also operate both dual terminal and dedicated terminal transfers.

Disabled facilities
Our buses have wheelchair facilities and staff are happy to help with any carrying of luggage.
If you require assistance, press the button at the barrier in the canopy and a member of the customer service team will be more than happy to help.
Futhermore, disabled customers can request at check in that their car be parked close to reception upon return to the car park.


Important information
APH will accept any vehicle that can fit into a standard parking bay and can be driven on a standard driving licence.

APH are unable to transport bikes, surf/windsurfing boards or items of a similar size on their transfer coaches. Snowboards/skis are acceptable.


Maximum vehicle height: 2.4m. Trailers are not accepted.
