Signposting at the airport was poor. Last time I parked here I stopped in what I thought was a drop off area for 30 secs only to be fine £100. There is no number plate recognition so had to get my ticket authorised at the information desk which is a pain.

When i first went online I had a figure of £36, but when I booked online a week later it went up to £56 Misleading.

Directions for On Airport Parking

Humberside airport is located between Scunthorpe and Grimsby and is easily accessed from the A180. This page gives a detailed map and directions to Humberside On Airport Parking.

From the north:
Take the A15, until you come to the roundabout where the A15 meets the A180. Go straight on at the roundabout and head south along the A18. Carry on until the road forks. Take the left hand fork over the railway bridge. From here follow signs to the airport, which will be on your right.

From the west:
Take the M180, which becomes the A180. At the roundabout go right onto the A18 and carry on until the road forks. Take the left hand fork over the railway bridge. From here follow signs to the airport, which will be on your right.

From the east:
Take the A180 until you come to the roundabout where the A180 meets the A18. Turn left onto the A18. Carry on until the road forks. Take the left hand fork over the railway bridge. From here follow signs to the airport, which will be on your right.

From the south:
Take the A1 north until you reach the exit for the A46 near Lincoln. Take the A46 until you reach the Riseholme roundabout when you should take the first exit onto the A15. Continue along the A15 until you reach the M180. At junction 5 branch left, then at the Barnetby Interchange roundabout take the fourth exit onto the A18. Turn right and at the roundabout take the first exit onto Franklin Way. At the next roundabout take the third exit to the airport.

On arrival:
When you arrive at the airport, follow signs for Long Stay car parks 2 or 3. You can also park in car park 4 with this package.
Pull up to the entrance barrier and press the button for a ticket. You'll need to keep this safe, as the car park's people will validate it on your return so you can exit the car park. Then just pull into any one of the parking bays and walk across to the terminal. You can take your keys with you, as your car will stay where you left it while you're away.

On return:
When you land, just collect your bags and head to the airport information desk inside the terminal building. You'll need to show your entry ticket and booking confirmation to the team, who will validate your ticket so that you can exit the car park.
Then, just walk back to your car. When you're ready to leave, pull up to the exit barrier and enter your ticket. When the barrier lifts, you can drive through and head home.

No motor homes, lorries, trailers or caravans are permitted even if multiple spaces are booked.

Blue badge holders may pre-book this long stay product and park in the short stay car park (Car Park 1) where dedicated spaces are available. Please state you have parked in the short stay car park when you present your entry ticket and booking confirmation to the Airport Information desk on your return.
