In the early hours of the day I flew; my home was broken into and my car stolen. In all my distress changing the car details to my friendâs was not a problem. It was great knowing that it wouldnât be yet something else to sort in the few hours we had before our much needed holiday. Thank you so much. Will definitely use you guys again.

Never had a problem before but on arrival he barrier wouldnât open and on leaving it wouldnât open as it said we owed £120, both issues were quickly resolved by pressing the help button but still a bit worrying.

Arriving at car park wasnât to much of an issue, just had to speak to an attendant to get a ticket and into the car park. The issue was on the way back at midnight, the ticket did not work and was trying to charge us £90 to get out. Fortunately we spoke to a very helpful attendant who sorted the issue out

The ANPR didn't work on the way in and out of the barrier and we had to wait to get in and out.

I would only use this car park again because it is so convenient for the airport. The reason for the poor rating was that upon arrival at the car park the barrier didnât recognise our numberplate and we had to buzz for assistance. At the end of the holiday we posted the ticket into the machine to be told we were required to pay over £60 in order to exit the car park, a poor service when we had already booked and paid online. Again we had to buzz for assistance and go through car Reg details etc before we were allowed to leave the car park. All in all a very frustrating and embarrassing end to our holiday when all we wanted to do was leave the airport and drive home ASAP.

Auto recognition didnt work, had to speak to someone. Gave name, ref number and reg before access given. On exit, same again, flashed up £90 to pay, again had to give ref number, reg and name before allowed out! Annoying

On arrival our vehicle did not show up on 5he number plate recognition which meant on return we had to go to the office to show proof of booking. This is not what you want on a return from a flight. I have used this car park before with no problems so not sure what went wrong.

So on arrival the car was not recognised and we had to wait to be let in even though it was booked months in advance. On leaving the ticket was then not accepted and we were asked to pay a fee of £70 to leave? Apart from that it was fine.

We have used this car park several times, the price is creeping up but if you book far enough in advance and look out for special deals it isn't too bad. The only downside is that it tends to be pretty full most of the time so if it is raining the walk to the far end is long.

Instructions to the car park tell you to turn right at the end of the approach road, when you should almost turn back on yourself to get to the car park. Easy entry, decent size parking spaces, however donât park near where folk take the route off the car park across a grass verge, as people are tempted to squeeze between the cars and we came back to what looked like a large black scratch on the car. However it was fortunately not a scratch and came off with some wd40. Just be aware that people are not always as careful as yourself. Literally a couple of hundred yards to the terminal. On landing no hanging about for a transfer bus, straight across road and into the car.

It is second time when I am using this parking service for Liverpool Airport and the service was great for in and out from parking lot.My registration car plate has been recognised both ways(in and out) and not a problem with that. I will use in future this parking services for next coming holidays

Directions for Park Smart (C02)
You park your own car and keep your keys with you - no height restrictionsDirections to the car park - We recommend following these directions, as the postcode for the airport doesn't take you to the correct place.
Follow Speke Hall Avenue towards the airport.
You will see the Park Smart car park on your right as you approach the main Terminal Building with the runway in front of you.
Stay in the right lane as you enter the roundabout.
At the roundabout take the 4th exit into the Park Smart car park.
You will see the car park barriers directly in front of you.
What to do on Arrival / Entrance:
Please wait whilst your registration is recognised.
A ticket will be automatically produced.
Take the ticket and proceed to the Car Park.
If a ticket is not issued, press the help button for assistance. Do not press for a ticket.
What to do on Departure / Exit:
Insert your ticket into the exit barrier.
The barrier will recognise the booking and lift automatically.

Travelling from the North:
Take the M6 southbound to junction 21A with M62. Please note that junction 21A is a split junction, and motorists should ensure they come off at the slip road signposted Liverpool. Follow M62 westbound to junction 6, and then exit onto the A5300 (Knowsley Expressway). At the end of the Knowsley Expressway,turn right onto the A561 (Speke Boulevard) and follow signs to the Airport, which is situated off Speke Hall Avenue.
Travelling from the South / East:
Travel M6 northbound to junction 20 with M56. Follow M56 to junction 12 and then exit onto A557/A562 dual carriageway via Runcorn Bridge to merge with A561. Follow signs to the Airport, situated off Speke Hall Avenue.
Travelling from the Wirral / North Wales
Passengers travelling from Wirral may find it more convenient at peak times to use the M53 and then the M56 (as instructions from the South / East) rather than a route through the City Centre of Liverpool via the Mersey Tunnels. Passengers travelling from North Wales should join the A55 to connect with the M56 eastbound, and then follow instructions as from the East.
