When you arrive at the car park a friendly member of the team will check you in and let you know where to park. You park your car so you get to keep your keys while you're away. All you need to do is catch the bus from the nearest bus stop

Simply catch the bus from where it dropped you off and return to ShortRun to pick up your car.

What else do I need to know?

The car park has a number of Blue Badge Bays which are first come, first served. The buses are also wheelchair accessible. Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or large vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they are under 2.1m, 2m wide and 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the maximum.

Good on arrival, not quite so good on collection although it was quite late at night. We were told to phone a number when we were ready for pick up but after an answerphone message, then some music we were told no one was available to take our call. By the time we got to the collection point we just missed one bus and had to wait 20 minutes for the next one.

there was a long wait for the pick up bus, which is not what you need after a long day travelling, perhaps they should have 2 running consistently to shorten the wait time.

Car park is easy to get to and from the airport however i had a major dissappointment as it took me 1H to find the place to drop my car. The directions given are very poorly without any exact post code given . Apart from that all ok

We arrived at this car park at 3am. The attendant at the gate was friendly and cheerful as he checked us in and directed us to our alloted parking area. The bus was quick and clean, again with a cheery driver. When we got back from our holiday we discovered that we had a flat tyre. We phoned the company number to explain we would overrun our time and they were ok with this, they could probably see us on the many cctv cameras in the compound as I set to changing the tyre and promptly broke my wrench. All was not lost as the attendant at the gate, another cheery chap, lent me their heavy duty airpump/battery booster and directed me to the nearest tyre depot that would be open on a Sunday. In short very nice people to deal with in the middle of the night and when I was desperate and frustrated. Well done guys, thank you.

The service is very good with pleasant staff at the gate house and on the buses. My only issue was that my flight was cancelled and I when I rearranged it for another day. At this time I also had to rearranged my parking. I was not able to do this in line and as it was a Sunday there was no one to call. When I saw that I would forfeit my place I drive to the car park and discussed with the person at the gate who was very helpful. When things are uncertain due to covid it would be good if changes could be managed on line. Thanks

Arriving at the car park
When you arrive at the car park a friendly member of the team will check you in and let you know where to park. You park your car so you get to keep your keys while you're away.

All you need to do is catch the bus from the nearest bus stop to the terminal. The buses run 24 hours a day, when needed and take 4-5 minutes to reach the airport.

Returning to the car park
Simply catch the bus from where it dropped you off and return to ShortRun to pick up your car.
The car park has a number of Blue Badge Bays which are first come, first served. The buses are also wheelchair accessible.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or large vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they are under 2.1m, 2m wide and 5m long. The car park cannot accept any high-sided vehicles, minibuses, mobile homes, lorries, caravans, trailers or vehicles larger than the maximum.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period until midnight, at their discretion. Any longer than this you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £20 per day which is subject to change.

Help us go green! There's no need to print out your booking confirmation, just show it on your mobile device.

If you have sports equipment or lots of luggage, you may need to wait during busy periods for a bus with more space – so make sure you allow plenty of time to get to the airport.

The shuttle can't accommodate large sporting equipment, so we'd recommend dropping any off with your passengers at the terminal first, then driving to ShortRun.

Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton Airport, buses to and from the airport may take longer than normal. We recommend you allow at least an extra hour for your transfer to the Airport particularly at peak times.Peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 4am and 9am, 1pm and 3pm and 5pm and 7pm on other days

Are these space suitable for a std transit van? Height is under 2.1m but some bits say no commercial vehicles The car park do not accept commercial vehicles.
