All good. Not many available spaces upon arrival but once parked up all ok. One comment I would add - upon return the car was found to be covered in a thick layer of dust which I had to remove from the windows before leaving. This was not expected, I deliberately selected an under cover car park to protect it from the elements as I did not want to return to a dirty car.

The machine didn' recognise I had pre-booked so had to call the help assistance to get it confirmed. I was lucky there wasn't a queue behind me otherwise it would have been all very frustrating.

Directions for Terminal Car Park 1 (MS)

There will be a full closure of the A1081 New Airport Way in both directions between 00.01 on Friday 29th November until 23:59 on Monday 2nd December 2019 to allow for bridge installation as part of the DART project. Diversions will be in place. Please allow extra time for your journey.


Directions to Luton Airport from the east and the A1
Go via the A505 dual carriageway through Hitchin and follow the signs to the Airport and your chosen Car Park or Drop Off point.

Directions to Luton Airport from the west and the M25
If you’re driving via the M40/M25, join the M1 and exit at Junction 10. Then just follow the signs to the Airport and your chosen Car Park or Drop Off point.

If you’re coming via Dunstable, all you need to do is follow the airport signs.

Directions to Luton Airport from the M1
Exit the motorway at Junction 10, and the Airport is just two miles away. Simply follow the signs to your chosen Car Park or Drop Off point.

Use postcode LU2 9QT then follow the signs for the Terminal Car Park 1. There are height restrictions in this car park of 2.1m


On Arrival
When you arrive at the car park, your car will be identified by the number plate recognition system so that you can enter through the barriers. You’ll be issued with a ticket from the machine. Keep it safe - you’ll need it to be able to get out of the car park. Park, lock your car and take the short walk over the link bridge close to the terminal entrance, it shouldn’t take any longer than 5 minutes to get there.

On return
After you land walk back to the car park across the bridge and pick up your car. Insert your ticket and the barrier will lift to let you out.

Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton airport, travel around the airport may take longer than normal. We'd recommend you allow an extra hour to get to the airport particularly at peak times.

Peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 4am and 9am, 1pm and 3pm and 5pm and 7pm on other days.

The car park has a height restriction of 2.1m.

If you are delayed collecting your car you will be charged the car parks daily rate of £64 per day (subject to change).
