What is the drop-off procedure?

Drive to the barrier, which will recognise your number plate and lift automatically. You can park in any space and keep your keys while you’re away. Then walk to the terminal in 4 minutes.

What is the pick-up procedure?

After collecting your luggage, walk back to the car park to collect your car. The barrier will lift automatically when you approach it, but if there are any issues press the intercom button for assistance.

What else do I need to know?

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit under the 2.1m barrier and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m). There are designated Blue Badge bays, which work on a first come, first served basis. You'll need to display your badge while you're away.

Directions for Terminal Car Park 2

There will be a full closure of the A1081 New Airport Way in both directions between 00.01 on Friday 29th November until 23:59 on Monday 2nd December 2019 to allow for bridge installation as part of the DART project. Diversions will be in place. Please allow extra time for your journey.


From the M1, take J10 onto the A1081. Follow the signs to London Luton Airport and the signs to the Terminal Car Park 2.

On arrival
Please drive up to the entry barrier and press for a ticket. Your car registration and booking reference number will be printed on your ticket. Once you have taken your ticket, please enter the car park and follow the signs to the nearest available spaces.

From the car park it’s a 4-minute walk to the terminal.

On your return
Please return to your vehicle and make your way to the exit barrier. At the exit barrier please insert the ticket you took on arrival. Providing you have not overstayed on your booking, the barrier will automatically raise.

If any overstay fee is applicable this will be displayed on the exit column and can be paid by either debit card or credit card at this point. If for any reason the barrier does not raise, please press the intercom for assistance and be ready to quote your booking reference number.

If you park longer than booked you’ll be charged the car park’s standard rate of £58. Please note this is subject to change.
