The car park was well sign posted and easy to find. The shuttle bus, however only operate at certain times so we had to walk with all the luggage. Although not far, its more like a 10 min walk from where we parked. The bus would have been ideal.

Great experience at the short stay car park. Very easy to find, literally just park your car in any space and go. On return put your ticket in the machine and home you go. Simple as that.

This was not the car park we originally booked.It was not opposite the terminal building,but very close to the long stay car park.It was a lot further than we thought.plus it was raining.We also paid extra but ended up further away. Overall disappointed with the location and extra cost for a lesser service.

We prefer Meet and Greet however this was not available due to Covid restrictions The option Short stay 2 is just a short walk from the terminal, most of the walk is covered and is a suitable alternative

Very easy to book online. Was able to park about 5 minutes walk away and there was a a corridor for protection in the event of bad weather for part of the way. Much better than having to wait for shuttle to offsight parking. Had we been parked further back in the airport carpark might have had a problem finding our car . As always I find £50 parking for 6 days extortionate and thats after minute discount offered.

Directions for Short Stay 2
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles or vans) will be accepted at the car park as long as they have less than 8 seats and fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).From the A1 take the A696 then follow the airport signs for the final 3 miles of your journey. Upon arrival at the airport follow the signs for the short stay car park.
On Arrival
Take a ticket at the entry barrier, which will lift to let you though. If the barrier doesn't lift please don't insert your credit or debit card into the barrier at any time, as you'll be charged for your parking again.
Park in any space and keep hold of your keys while you're away. From there, the terminal is a short walk, or you can take the courtesy shuttle bys located outside the car park. Make sure you keep your ticket somewhere safe, as you'll need it when you come back.
On return
Once you've collected your luggage, make the short walk or catch the bus back to the car park. When you get back to the car park, just get in your car and drive to the barrier. Put your ticket into the barrier and it will let you out. If you have any problems, just press the help button on the machine to talk to a member of staff.
The car park doesnt accept lorries or trailers.
Early or late? The car park offers a grace period up until midnight at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £12 per day, which is subject to change.
If you come back early, unfortunately we can't give you a refund for the time you've not used.
