easy access from motorway . number plate recognition system worked perfectly. some form of indication of where spaces are available would be helpful

Good price. Could make it clearer whether red zone is permitted. Anpr didn't work so we had to call for help at the exit barrier.

Directions for Short Stay Premium - Yellow Zone

From London:
- Exit the M11 at Junction 8a.
- Follow the road for just over a mile and take the Stansted Airport exit.
- Branch left, and at Bassingbourn roundabout, take the second exit.
- At the next roundabout, take the third exit, following signs to Short Stay Car Parks.

From Cambridge:
- Exit the M11 at Junction 8.
- Take the A120 exit to Stansted Airport.
- At the Priory Wood roundabout, take the third exit.
- Branch left, and at Bassingbourn roundabout, take the second exit.
- At the next roundabout, take the third exit, following signs to Short Stay Car Parks.

Note: once at the airport, please follow signs to Short Stay YELLOW ZONE

Go in through the barriers, park and head straight to the terminal. If a ticket is not given automatically press intercom button for assistance. Don't insert a credit or debit card. Use this ticket to exit on return.

simply park up, lock up and walk the short distance to the terminal. While you're away, your car will stay exactly where you left it - just remember where you parked

Parking bays for Blue Badge holders are available in Yellow Zone Short Stay car park and help points are located close by. These spaces work on a first come first served basis.


At the discretion of the car park you will have a 4 hour grace period prior to arrival and a 6 hour grace period on return. If you arrive or depart outside your booking period, you will incur an additional charge based on Manchester Airport's standard short stay tariff, currently £62 per day or part thereof (subject to change) - If you pick your car up early, we can't give you a refund.
Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
