How to get to Sydney Airport

Sydney Airport is located around 8 km south of Sydney’s Central Business District (CBD), which is around 15-20 minutes by car. The M1 road is the main link if travelling by car. There are also many additional transport options, such as the train or bus, which operate on a regular basis.

If you are travelling from Western Sydney from suburbs such as Richmond, Cabramatta or Springwood, you’ll want to follow the main M4 and M5 roads, which are the connecting roads to Inner-Sydney amenities, as well as the airport.

Alternatively, if you’d prefer to leave the navigation up to Google Maps or a Sat-Nav, the address is Mascot NSW 2020. Make sure you have all your flight and car parking information readily available upon arrival, to help streamline the process from parking to boarding.

Sydney Airport has three main passenger terminals, all located within a short distance from each other. If you so require, there are airport train links and T-Buses between terminals. For your convenience, please check which terminal you are flying from before arriving at the airport.

Terminal 2 and 3 are within a 10 minutes walk from each other, however you’ll have to travel slightly further to get to Terminal 1. There is a free shuttle bus to Terminal 1 from off-airport car parks like Blu Emu.
