Airport Parking: Electric Vehicle Charging Availability

Here at FHR we are always trying to stay ahead of the game. We want to give our customers the best airport parking and airport hotel deals we possibly can, whilst still achieving a high degree of service. With today’s focus on cleaner greener cars, we now need to think seriously about charging points in our airport car parks.

Although there are few electric vehicles (EV) on the roads at present, we all know it is inevitable that one day soon most of us will be driving them. Airports are keen to reduce emissions and promote cleaner transport, and we have compiled a list of those that provide a charging service. Some charge a fee and others are free of charge.

Almost all the charging points are subject to availability on the day, however there are a few car parks where you can book a stay to include an electric charge. We have marked these car parks on our list, so you can guarantee a charge whilst you are parked there.

To get more detailed information it will be necessary to contact your chosen car park direct. We will endeavour to update this list as more car parks install EV points. This is a rapid growth industry and we expect changes to come thick and fast in the future, with a complete rethink on how the spaces will transpose with EVs being in the majority rather than the minority.

Finally, feel free to contact us with any queries you may have and we will do our very best to give you the best service available, whichever car you drive.
