The 'dining' experience at the hotel (read hostel!) is quite frankly awful. If you are going to stay overnight and get an early breakfast at Aberdeen Airport then you wiill find it OK as the rooms are large and reasonably appointed, but avoid it if you are contemplating it as a base for exploring the area. There are far better hotels in Aberdeen as we found at 10pm at night when we changed hotels.

With effect from 06/02/23 this property will no longer accept CASH. This includes bar, restaurant and car parking.

From the South: Follow signs to the airport and Inverness(A96). When you reach roundabout at the bottom of the north Anderson drive turn left, continue for approx 1 mile then move into right hand lane and then after you pass the bakers on your right, follow sign for local traffic by turning right. Hotel is 1st entrance on left.;From the North: follow signs to the city centre on the A96. The Britannia hotel is located in bucksburn on the outskirts of Aberdeen. The hotel is on left hand side opposite the bucksburn police headquarters
