All went well until we departed the terminal on August firstl and was asked to pay some £583 .for the stay. We eventually sorted it out but you can imagine the shock! Do you not have number recognition ? R H Driscoll

terminal multi-story is so easy and convenient. We feel it is great value. We had one problem, and this is the second time this has happened. When leaving we fed the ticket into the exit barrier machine, it then stated we owed £718! We had to then press for assistance and give our ref. And car registration. The barrier was then lifted. No big deal but it does make your heart miss a beat.

The cost of Edinburgh Airport parking is an absolute rip-off and is amongst the most expensive in the whole of the UK and Europe.The amount of spaces available close to the terminal especially for disabled spaces is appalling and frequently we have drive around in circles waiting for one to appear. Direction signage is poor both on entering and leaving the airport and poor road surfaces make driving difficult. Unhelpful staff just add to the pleasure of parking here. Our bookings are made as far in advance of required dates to try and get a good price but even that seems to no longer work, added with the ticket being rejected on departure with the airport trying to extort more money by saying that the prepaid booking has not been recognised does not make parking here a pleasure. All of the above is factual and not opinion. FHR on the occasion of my last booking did provide the best price and the booking process was easy to complete and the extra of fast track security was necessary in order to beat the queues. I will use again providing they offer reasonable prices.

Bit disappointed when exiting. Card inserted in machine and message comes up I owe £445. After speaking to someone, I was allowed to go on my way. NOT a great experience.

Really brilliant way to start a vacation. So easy! And the added bonus of fast track. Only downside was we had to park on the open roof area as the car park itself was so full.

Usually book valet parking but that doesn't seem to be available now...but terminal multi-storey & fast track was really good.. took a few up and down parking lane to get a space...but wasn't an issue....

I like using the Multi -Storey and fast track facilities especially now that I am waiting on hip surgery and not as able as I was. My only comment would be that all the disabled spaces were occupied when I arrived at 4.30 am. Nevertheless, I was lucky to find a free space not too far from the lift. On several previous occasions my number had not been recognised and I had the heart stopping request for £275 pounds! That was quickly dealt with but a bit of a scare! This time it was trouble free to exit.I know it is more expensive to use than off site parks but I like the convenience and the fast track facility so will continue to use it in the future. Thanks

Directions for Terminal Multi-Storey & FastTRACK Special
DirectionsEdinburgh Airport is about eight miles west of the city centre.
The entrance is reached from the A8 Glasgow Road, and is close to the M8 and M9 motorways.
The A8 airport junction is between the Gogar and Newbridge roundabouts.
If you're approaching from Edinburgh, join the A8 from the city bypass and head towards Glasgow.
If you're coming from the north or west, join the A8 at the Newbridge roundabout and head towards Edinburgh, then follow signs for the airport
Follow the signs for Edinburgh Airport and at the roundabout with the Hilton Hotel, continue straight ahead. At the next roundabout, take the second exit next to the blue Terminal Parking sign. Drive up to the barriers on the right and take your ticket. Our system will have read your number plate to activate your booking. If your ticket is not issued automatically, please press the intercom for assistance. Drive straight ahead and over the mini roundabout to enter the multi storey car park. To gain entrance, re-validate your ticket at the entrance to the multi-storey car park. For the use of fastTRACK please present your parking ticket at the fastTRACK gate.
When you come back from your trip, at the exit barrier, please insert your ticket to be validated and the barrier will open. If there are any problems, press the intercom button to talk to our staff.
