Bmibaby launches winter routesLow-fares airline bmibaby has put its winter routes on sale, with new flights to Barcelona, Milan and Warsaw among the launches.

The second phase of the carrier’s winter programme includes new services from Birmingham Airport to Krakow, Milan Bergamo and Warsaw, and a connection between Manchester Airport and Barcelona.

Bmibaby customers will also be able to access flights from Cardiff Airport and East Midlands Airport to Warsaw, as well as a new service from the Welsh hub to Barcelona.

Other European destinations that the operator will fly to this winter include Alicante, Nice, Prague and Paris.

Crawford Rix, the airline’s managing director, said: "We have 21 great European destinations to choose from this winter including new flights to Barcelona, Krakow, Milan Bergamo and Warsaw.

"Bookings to these cities have been extremely strong throughout the summer, so we will continue operating the routes during the winter months."

Flight frequencies to domestic destinations will also be increased, with more services to Belfast, Glasgow and Cork, among other destinations.
