Aer Arann cuts prices on Irish flightsIrish regional carrier Aer Arann has launched a sale on all of its flights between the UK and Ireland.

The 20 per cent price reduction, which is available for more than 250,000 seats on Aer Arann flights, commenced on July 9th and will be available until midnight on July 13th.

Customers can save money on a number of routes, including services from Manchester Airport to Kerry, Edinburgh Airport to Cork, Birmingham to Waterford and Cardiff Airport to Dublin.

Fergal Barry, the airline’s commercial director, said: "This deal is a fantastic opportunity to visit the Emerald Isle.

"There’s been a lot of talk about people deferring their summer holiday because of the credit crunch but we’re encouraging people to get away from the daily grind this summer and discover the ‘real’ Ireland without emptying their pockets."

The sale, which applies to flights through all 13 of Aer Arann’s UK destinations, is valid for travel throughout 2008.
