Bristol International Airport installs showers

Passengers travelling from Bristol International Airport will now be able to keep fresh and clean thanks to the installation of some new showers.

Jason Wescott, head of sales at the south-west travel hub, said the new washrooms could be used by passengers who had undertaken long flights and were going straight to meetings.

"The shower facilities mean that they can now arrive refreshed and firing on all cylinders," he added.

Before the installation of the new washrooms, passengers who wanted to freshen up with a shower would have needed to check into an airport hotel.

Passengers will be able to pre-book the facilities in advance during their flight to Bristol or even further in advance.

They also have a facility that is suitable for those passengers who have reduced mobility.

Bristol International Airport recently announced that it had signed an agreement with Pedersen Airport Hotels to develop an on-site airport hotel.
