Heathrow Airport has started offering passengers something to read while they wait for their flight with the launch of a new magazine.
The publication, entitled Heathrow Traveller, will be published quarterly and is the first official consumer magazine to be released by the London travel hub.
Passengers will be able to read the latest travel advice and reviews about destinations available from Heathrow Airport, as well as news, reviews, features and interviews.
Articles featured in the first issue include a piece on the world’s best roof top bars and the best of Shanghai, as well as interviews with author Alain de Botton and TV adventurer Simon Reeve.
The magazine will also be available on the Heathrow Airport Express train service.
Travellers from Heathrow Airport are still facing the threat of cancellations throughout May and June due to industrial action being taken by British Airways cabin crew.
A high court injunction which prevented the first round of strikes being held this week is currently being challenged by the union Unite.
In total 20 days of strikes were planned.
