Southampton Airport is set to get a new route to Dijon this summer courtesy of Eastern Airways.
From Monday June 6th, passengers will be able to board services to the French city three times every week, on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Travellers can purchase one-way fares from £75, including taxes, and will travel on a 29-seater Jetstream 41 aircraft.
"This new summer service from Southampton is part of our wider development plans in Dijon to provide a UK link to the south of England. Southampton Airport is a popular gateway for heading to France and our service will save business and leisure travellers visiting the Burgundy region valuable time," Kay Ryan, Eastern Airways' commercial director, said.
The Monday flights are set to leave the UK travel hub at 12:50 BST and will arrive in France at 15:40 local time, while the Friday flights will leave Southampton Airport at 13:50 BST and touchdown in France at 16:40 local time.
Sunday flights will depart from the UK at 13:40 BST and land in France at 16:30 local time.
Furthermore, the travel hub will also offer flights to Menorca between May 29th and September 25th this year.
